Djokovic to play ? I suppose he would lose easily in his first round against any top 100 player

He looked OK at the Australian Open, and that was after an even longer lay off. He probably won't be ready to win but I don't see him just losing to any random guy either.

There was a thread that he started training like how long ago ... two weeks I think. After surgery, no mather small or big, there are always mental doubts. Sure he could possibly win against someone like Berlocq but most players should take him out easily at this stage.

He beat Monfils and Ramos Vinolas (ranked #22) at the AO without issues. He is not gonna be taken out easily but his consistency might be affected. I feel he can play good one match then the next he struggles. Either way, he has alot of work ahead of him if he is gonna get back where he was.

With Djoko playing I believe that he would be the third favorite for the title after Fed and Delpo.

The atroucious thing is that the three players could end up all in the same quarter.

The problem for Djokovic is that the new gen is not afraid of him like the RaoMug gen. Zverev, Kyrgios, Thiem, Chung would relish the prospect of facing Djok and perhaps even Shaps and Tiafoe

He had surgery after AO. He's coming back to soon after surgery.

That is actually how it should be and that is a very good thing for Djokovic.

someone else has withdrawn (Garcia-lopez..not a seed though, I think)..

maximillian marterer age 22, rank around 70 from Germany is now in main draw. youngish gun ?

so we have late pre-draw doubts over nick k (so what's new lol). zed (knee hurt v delpotro), and possibly Djokovic (no-one knows wtf is going on).

Djoker is playing the same game Murray did in USO, but he's not seeded highly so it won't matter.

Perfect tournament for Sock to bounce back, on home soil. Not like winning it but a SF maybe.

Anybody feels it?

I went to the ATP home site and accessed the tourney page, no draws available (I was looking for quals). Order of play shows mens quals going on. How hard is this?

Any streams available for the qualifying? Mahut playing today and would like to watch if possible, but it doesn't seem like batmanstream has any listed.

That happened last year, with an extra Nadal and Kyrgios in there as well.

Djokovic had booked for practice sessions for 4 days but he cancelled it for today and tomorrow

People seem to be drawing dire conclusions. But players book courts and cancel them or don't show all the time. Serena Williams had a court booked tomorrow and it's gone. Could be practicing off-site. Could not have arrived yet. It's just a fact, no deeper meaning.
