Zed, straight sets but close for a while. The adjustment to cooler nighttime conditions might be a bit tricky for the #4 seed. The closest he has come to losing in two months was in his last night match, played at Cincinnati when Tsits was up 4-1 in the third but crumbled to lose in a decisive TB. Having to inject pace, particularly on his serve, in cooler conditions sometimes makes him error prone.

I like Sock and my ABZ membership is renewing, but I don't see him having the game to trouble the Ziraffe.

I will be shocked (and disappointed) if Zverev loses this match. He is playing the best tennis of his career lately and I expect that to continue. I think he has a strong chance to make it to the final.

Of course this has been a tournament of upsets but I would truly be shocked if this was one of them.
