a lot of pros still wear them, I still see a lot of rec players wearing them and resellers trying to jack the price on them - I think there's a demand for it. I think what makes it doubtful is how Nike spliced off the Vapor line now into 2 different models that are comprised.
First fallacy is thinking that this is "a lot". For pros, something like the 9.5 would be considered "a lot". The VP1 is a joke compared to that and can hardly be considered "a lot"
Secondly, the amount of non-professionals wearing the VP1 pales in comparison to other models like the Gel Resolutions.
Third, just because resellers jack up the price on them hardly means it can be profitable for Nike. This is a business first and foremost. You can also find old Vapor 9.5s for jacked up prices on the reseller market as well yet when Nike brought those back, they didn't sell particularly fast or anything.
The React NXT had a successor with the Zoom NXT.
Fourth, the Zoom NXT was not a successor to the React NXT. That was supposed to be the successor to the Zoom GP Turbo. Totally different cushioning.
I don't know how you can make four mistakes in one post but the sooner that you come to terms with the fact that you are in the minority when it comes to the VP1, the less devastating the wait will be. You can trick your mind with wishful thinking and false hope any way you want, but the reality is that the market for the VP1 is ridiculously small. It doesn't matter how much resellers list them for, but the overall market size is too small to warrant any kind of return of the VP1. I hope you are not waiting for some kind of comeback because such a wait will only result in disappointment for you.
