Do you know when the vapor pro 3's may be released? Only limited colourways (clay version) remaining online with Nike (Australia) -could this be because they are making room for the vapor pro 3's....or more getting ready of Roland Garros colourways to be released??
The vapor pro 2 has more, "upper" going un. there is just more material which works on some peoples favor and others not so much. Some want the better lockdown which is me, but others want the ability to stretch to adapt to a fight that's possibly wider or weirdly shaped.
considering how unpopular this opinion is, it is doubtful that nike will even go back to something like the 1s without some drastic alterations
Considering a lot of pros still wear them, I still see a lot of rec players wearing them and resellers trying to jack the price on them - I think there's a demand for it. I think what makes it doubtful is how Nike spliced off the Vapor line now into 2 different models that are comprised.
First fallacy is thinking that this is "a lot". For pros, something like the 9.5 would be considered "a lot". The VP1 is a joke compared to that and can hardly be considered "a lot"
Fourth, the Zoom NXT was not a successor to the React NXT. That was supposed to be the successor to the Zoom GP Turbo. Totally different cushioning.

Hi @shinminsoo86 Thanks for your thoughts. I too did try on the same size on, it was just visually when looking down at my feet that it seemed 'long'. Performance wise I didn't see or feel any difference of the equivalent size, but I am going to try on a half size down to see how this is. Thanks mate.
Very much so. I've been in the same boat. For me it's just chewing through the outsole that's a problem. Even my oldest pair upper looks and feels fine. I just starting using my last fresh pair. It is annoying to see just how many good pairs there are out there but marked up a lot. I won't pay it either. The VP1 fits my foot so well I don't even need to lace them crazy tight. Haven't found another shoe that even comes halfway close to that level of fit. If a VP3 doesn't come out soon enough I'll probably give the Vapor 11 a shot.
I had issues with the VP2 but never even thought to go down a 1/2 size and see how they feel. I might have to give this another look. My problem was that the upper felt more roomy than the VP1 and I had a hard keeping the shoe tight and felt like I was quickly developing blisters. Length felt just right though so really not sure if that's the problem or not. I think it could be worth at least trying one on in store should it come down to having to go that route.
It's interesting- Nike brings out new shoes every 2-3 years. Just as I was happily using the Vapor X's for a few years, I now have to try on different new models, like the Vapor 11 and Vapor Pro 2, also tried the GP's, Court Lites and another one, to find a model that suits me, and also a size that suits best. This all takes time and testing, but I guess this is how the world is!

Same, I was skeptical about vapor pro 2 and went with 2 more vapor pro 1 models then gave it a try. Next thing you know its my go to. just like the shoe for some reason. I know I sound weird for this but I just prefer zoom air in forefoot, and sense I'm always on my toes and have a really aggressive style, I get greater stability from hat plastic half peace on side and also am able to constantly take full advantage of the zoom air. So it's my kind of shoe for sure, just wish the old vapor pro 1 outsole that integrated the shank was still there but that's all. Feels a little to flexible without shank. When they introduce vapor pro 3 and vapor 11 I hope they bring back react foam. either that or a gosh darn shank.
