Why did Nadal not retire against Tsonga in AO 2008 SF when he was SCHOOLED and HUMILIATED?
What made Nadal select the AO 2010 QF against Murray, where he would FAKE injury and retire -given that the first 2 sets were close and the match was a VERY competitive affair?
Oh,....and BTW post AO, Nadal withdrew from Rotterdam, took a 6 weeks break from Tennis, gave his doctors diagnosis etc.
So much trouble to go through the whole rigmarole to FAKE an injury?

Nope, it was all for show. He started the production with his withdrawal from Wimbly, also for fake reasons. Then he forgot his knee story and talked about abdomen muscles in USO. Then he got a a beat down at the WTF, and realized that his original story was a knee one. Keeping that in mind he entered the AO. Then just faked it all after that.
