What is your GOAT? currently I have the say the BV's. Although I have a rising suspicion that I would like the Vapors more:twisted:, However, that will have to wait till I can actually try on a pair. Yes I know that I am missing a lot of shoes w/this poll thats why I put in an other option. Please post what you like about you shoe, and if other, which shoe.

edit: these are simply shoes off the top of my head. Like I said if your GOAT ain't up there, chose other and post which one it is please!!

Haven't tried the Barricade V, but the Barricade IV is a darn good shoe. The standard for hardcourt shoes.

Well, I played w/ the New Balance 653's for a while (I have a verry wide foot), which are really great shoes. But, I noticed after a while that their too heavy and slow me down. I plan to get the 654's, which are lighter and from trying them on @ a store, feel just like the 653's. They'll probably be my holy grail.

I voted for the Breathe Free II's because they fit me great and are soft and cushioned. My only reservation is that they look like running shoes.

now, some may take issue with the lack of a durability guarantee. if you're a toe dragger or you really rip through shoes quick, then i can understand not wanting to spend money on a pair of shoes that will last you 3 weeks. however, if you tend to be a bit easier on your soles, these are, in my humble opinion, the best shoes made so far

I chose the Barricade option. The Barricade II have the perfect combination of lateral stability, weight, comfort, and design. They are to Adidas what Oscillates are to Nike. Classic shoes.

A pair of $35 wilsons I bought like 5 years ago. They lasted like 4 years. I was using them for tennis and work. I looked for them but couldn't find them. They didn't have a model name on them but they were nice and tight and blue and white They had a blue toe guard and sides were blue. I am still looking for them. Similar design to Wilson Qualifier.

Is a really nice shoe, next time i'll try BV just to see if they are better, but this is a great shoe, and very durable, i have for about 3 month now, and they have minor wear in the outsole, i play about 5 hrs a week, but in the last 2 weeks i play about 7-8 hrs.

- Barricade line is leading (maybe due to most voters located in US where HCs are common?) but there's only 1 vote so far for Feathers which mean Adidas flagship tennis shoes for HCs are most popular
- Yet, if all the nike shoes combined (diverse votes between vapors, breathe frees and cages) then Nike is leading the HCs shoes popularity with more options than adidas

i like the B5's the best. most comfortable, durable, supportive shoe hands down. the bf2 just wore out too quick, had mediocre support and wasn't all that comfortable. the only thing that stuck out was the ventilation.

I have always been split between Barricade 2's and Breathe Free 2's. Both are very cushioned with excellent grip. Durability goes to the Barricade though so I voted for it. My new GREEN version of the Breathe Free 2's sure do look awesome though.

I'm a big fan of the Vapor IV, in fact I have owned four pairs but the durability is very low. Someone on this forum humorously compared the durability of Nike outsoles to cheese. That is true for the Vapor IV's. They are very cushioned and offer great support but the durability is not there.

1. Nike Wimbledon - orignal model with heringbone sole and light blue swoosh - the one that started it all for Nike in Tennis

2. Puma Hardcourt - Vilas shoe with the Green sole - it had the best advert as well with Pancho Segura writing the blurb - the absolute best!
