Since Del Potro won USO, not a single Grand Slam was won by a player who was in Delpo's half of the draw. Amazingly, this is still going on.

And the last 8 players to knock Fed out of a GS, have lost their very next match.

It used to be the other way around. I think since FO04 it wasn't until FO10 that someone beat Fed at a Slam and did not end up winning the thing.

Delpo was the first to beat both #1 Fed and #2 Rafa in a GS. Stan is the first to beat both #1 Rafa and #2 Djoker in a GS. Not sure if anybody beat #1 Djoker and #2 Rafa as well.

Stan's also the lowest seeded winner of any Major since the 2004 French Open, when Gaudio won it unseeded (ranked 44 in the world going into the tournament).

Interesting.
May be beating Fed takes so much out of you, mentally and physically.

I remember AO 2010. Murray was limping, clutching his back, at the end of the match.
