just add some lead tape at 12. That's what I do to my Tour G 310s

Well, of course adding weight is necessary but I would have liked the SW to be naturally around there in the first place. I would have still added weight anyway to bring it up to 330 or higher. I didn’t think the Duel G 310 responded well to adding too much weight. Maybe this frame will be different

I am anxiously awaiting these rackets go on sale like most of you (less Karma Tennis). Give me a TW racquet review or something. I’m like a crazy person checking this thread and “googling” for any new info I can find. I can’t make out a word of the Fukky review yet happy something is released.
I was planning on purchasing a matching set but after hearing so much good about the QA and extremely small discrepancy’s, I’m now considering just buying one and maybe purchasing one at a later date. Any thoughts on that?

You'd probably be ok doing that with Yonex. If you buy them unstrung, you can always weigh them on a digital scale at home. That's what I always do, and if I ever get one off spec by more than a couple of grams, I send it back.

Man..... USA needs a fukky's. the editing was cracking me up.

Funny translations for sure, but also frustrating because they have so much information to share with non JP countries who are subscribed. We need some silicon valley geeks to invent an app for real time translations..

You can turn on the auto-translate feature on the settings cog in youtube..... but it doesn't work well from JP to English

I frickin love it. They do the same thing in the Ezone doubles video. Whenever Morimori kun hits a winner they cut to some shot of him in a goofy pose. Can't understand Japanese at all, but these guys are so goofy that the videos are very fun to watch. And they're very good players.

I was thinking this stick might be underpowered from the first video also, not so much after this doubles one. Of course the lafino crew are much better players than I am.

Isn't it that flex goes down a point or two when it's strung? Are those racquetfinder stats of unstrung racquets? The 330g is definitely an unstrung weight.

1. Racquet Finder specs are TW specs so always strung.
2. The weight is 346g strung, 330 is swingweight and the unit is kg*cm^2.

Not a fan of the flex rating I take it? I was hoping for more like 63, but I can deal with 65.

Especially with Yonex. For some reason, I find other manufacturers to be stiffer than the same rating a Yonex frame has. I didn't find the SV series to be overly stiff but I did with the PS17. I loved the Tour G 330. Because of the SW, I could produce nice depth and penetrate the court without trying to over do it. It was effortless, if you can handle the SW.

Yeah, but the Tour G 330 was a 63 RA and not 65... it's not a disaster... but would have been nicer if it was 63 or lower... Worth a demo... and if to ones liking, but desiring a lower RA, we can always choose the 310g version and add some weight...

Where are you guys seeing them? They aren't even released yet. I haven't found where to buy them.
I am located in Hungary, and the dealer got them a couple of days ago.
I had the 97inch 310gr and the 100inch 300gr version in hand and both looked fantastic. The paintjob is the best I have seen in years, they just look great.
I will go back this afternoon and will make a couple of pics to post here.

Thanks Peter! Looking forward to seeing them. I'm glad to hear that the paint job looks good in real life

Not sure why people think that the 1 point difference in SW is significant, given that we do not know how many racquets were tested, the accuracy of the instrument with the strung racquet, the SD and CI of the results. What if the average SW of the 310 racquets was 64.4 and the 330 64.6? What if the margin of error of the machine is +-1? I think you are heavily over-interpreting the data on Racquet Finder.

Gorgeous racquet this and great pictures. Thanks for sharing. As someone with very little experience with Yonex, can someone tell me if these are still Japanese made? Or are there only some particular models that are Japanese? Either way, beautiful looking racquets for sure!

These 2 are made in Japan.

There was a 3rd one that had a funny letter added to the code, smthng like an alpha... I cannot recall. That was chinese made.

I saw this when I was googling for more information on this racquet.

I think Yonex posted the same thing to twitter. They're holding a release and demo event in Indian Wells on March 7th or so. Would be frickin sweet to go to the tourney AND try the new sticks, but not happeing for me :(

But I think I'll get my hands on one soon enough anyway.

I’m really torn on whether to get the 310 or 330 version. I have only/currently use the Vcore tour 97 330. I think a swingweight of about 330 in a 11.8 ish overall weight would be perfect. Would a overgrip (0.05 oz), and (2) 8 inch Tungsten TW strips (0.2 oz) under the guard accomplish this? I think it would be close. Am I crazy for altering a brand new racket? Should I just stick with the 330 version. Any feedback is appreciated.

It’s totally up to you. If you are fine with 330g, there is no reason to get 310g.
Honestly I prefer 330g version but always have a question myself that I can handle 330g racket for three set long matches. Probably if I want new vcore 97, I will get 310g then customize it.
Chung’s rackets are 310g version and added weights so why not? Definitely 310g gives more room to customize ^_^
