The final is here laddies and gents.

Unexpected final to say at least but lets see if it delivers. Good luck to both of them.

Sinner in straights, no tiebreaks. Dimitrov maybe goes up an early break in one of the sets to provide some drama, but that’s about as far as his resistance goes.
Stars aligning for Dimitrov very much this event. Wouldn't surprise me if Sinner comes out a bit below his level and ends up losing in 3.

I have to imagine Sinner wins this. But I'm just happy Grigor is here. Never made a Miami QF and now he's here in the final. And he did it the hard way. This wasn't taking advantage of a soft draw like his previous Masters 1000 finals, he beat a couple of the best players in the world with some spectacular play.

Might be the last big chance of his career, so I'll definitely be rooting for him on Sunday.

Most fans want Grigor to win, but in reality. His level is second tier

It is pretty funny that an old, second-tier player with a 1HBH (horrors!) can take
out- twice in a row- the most highly touted player of recent times.

go figger..
Dk is just a bit too over the top with Sinner and putting down everyone that isn’t Sinner in the process. It’s quite sad we can’t just celebrate the amazing run by Dimitrov and instead he has to call him second tier.

Dimi’s last 3 matches:
4R: #9 Hurkacz
QF: #2 Alcaraz
SF: #5 Zverev

3 massive top 10 players back to back to back.

Compared to Sinner’s run:
4R: #66 O’Connell
QF: #60 Machac
SF: # Medvedev

Big difference.

Sinner has also proven himself big time these last few months, so it's not like advancing on a weak draw is a fluke for him. He likely would've beaten better players if they were in his way.

But yeah, there's no question who has been more impressive this week.

Oh for sure, can only face who's in front of you and not putting him down, he’s the best player of this year but yeah the two draw differences are very different. Dimitrov looking for 4 consecutive top 10 wins in the one tournament, wonder when that last happened?

I haven't looked super hard, but the most recent I can find is Nadal's last RG in 2022.

Also really interesting to see that Tsitsipas won 4 in a row at Canada 2018 but lost the final to Rafa. 5 straight would've been one of the craziest title runs ever.

Sinner will win easily in 2 but man it’s so good to see how Dimitrov is doing after all these years and if he was to win this title it would be an epic run.
I agree as well. As a Sinnerfam I wouldn’t mind if Dimitrov won. But he’s going to lose in straights

The fedfans have come alive and are playing same DIRTY play they did when Nole started beating Federer.

I hope for sanity Sinner crushes the one hander of Dimitrov and send most of them packing soon.

You forgot Coric 2022?

He beat
#2 Nadal
#7 FAA
#9 Norrie
#4 Tsitsipas

Everyone wants Dimi to win except for a few deranged TTW carrot fans.

Sinner will expose False dawn of Mugtrov but ttw will cry that he didn't play his best.
He’ll start out fast but when Sinner starts swinging and blasting winners off the court he’ll give up. I don’t see him getting more than 7 games. He’s apart of the failed generation. Nishikori, Raonic, all losers

Sinner is the best player in the world right now and a robot from the baseline. His ground strokes are superb from both sides and he’s moving very well. I personally don’t enjoy his style of play as it’s robotic with almost no variety or creativity. It reminds me way too much of Djokovic. He will probably steamroll Dimitrov but maybe Dimitrov can feed him some slice and give him some different looks. There’s no way he will want to get into baseline bashing with him or he will get butchered.

Sinner will expose his BH, won't give him slow loopy balls in his hitting zone like others did.

I think Sinner's playing exceptionally well right now so it's hard not to go with him - that said, if Dimitrov manages to weather the storm and utilize his toolbox it has the potential to get real interesting. Sinner's A-game looks to be overwhelming at the moment, but after seeing him blank out for the first two sets against Medvedev at the AO when he came out attacking instead of reacting (and no, I'm not at all willing to chalk that up solely to Sinner's nerves) I want to see if he'll be quicker to make adjustments if Dimitrov asks him some tough questions.

Dimitrov has played incredibly well. He’s dangerous now. But Sinner has been even more ridiculous. I’m taking Sinner in 3 very tight sets.

Sinner too consistent and moving so well at this time
Nah, consistency matters more if you play Medvedev and have to hit 35+ crosscourt backhands in a row. And I thought Alcaraz is moving so well before the Dimitrov match.
If Grigor is ON, he will serve like a bot, rush you, throw you changeups in direction, speed, debt, spin etc.

It would be amazing for Dimi to beat in the same tournament Carlitos, Chainz and Carrot. Probably to much. Carrot boy in 2 sets .

I think Sinner has got this. However, I been impressed with dimitrov. His slice, FH and BH looking great right now. It should be a cracker but Sinner is so efficient in all areas of his game. I say Sinner in 3 sets and should be a good battle!

Son, don't get carried away by TTW. Mugtrov looked impressive because Z and Carlos hit balls in his zones and he could swing freely, Sinner won't give him such easy balls. 6-4 6-3 for Sinner.

Sinner vultures the title after Dimitrov's hard work to throw out literally everyone that causes trouble for the Italian; be it Hurkacz or Alcaraz or Zverev.
