post your shoes before the shoe warranty claim

So my warranty was approved and my $130 voucher was issued... I noticed on the receipt of my new pair that the voucher went in as a $130 gift card, so I assume that Nike has the purchase in the system in the same manner as a regular gift card purchase. Will the new pair of shoes I buy have the warranty as well?

If they gave you the card then it will have the warranty (like buying new shoes) if they just replaced the shoes then no.

NO. the warranty card does not mean anything. I also received the receipt which indicated that as a gift card but you can't claim the warranty again.
Nike knows you used the voucher. it's one time replacement.

I've been using the "same" warranty since the Cb 2.3. I just get a new shoe off Nike w/ my gift card and I purchase from the CB series and wear those and repeat the process- in fact, I just got a new voucher last week in the mail. Not meaning to show off, but I also got a $450 one for a messed up jacket I had. I honestly don't know what to do with $580 worth of voucher

So you claimed multiple warranties for the single purchase?
Nike clearly state that you can only claim the warranty once.
'For the purchase of any one pair of {style name} there is a limit of one Nike Product Voucher'. If Nike continues to grant those repeated warranty, many people don't need to pay shoes anymore for their life.
Anyone try to abuse these warranty program, the shoe companies will eventually stop offering outsole warranties anymore.

i agree with kimguroo the companies are in it too make money too especially since i work for my local pro shop i see how many people try to rip us off. Just because Nike is a multi million or maybe billion dollar company doesn't make it right to keep getting free shoes because even if it doesn't hurt Nike directly it will hurt your local pro shops and wherever else you used to buy your equipment
not trying to be that guy but...

Anyone send in a pair of B6s and get back a pair of B7s? Or does Adidas still have B6s in stock?

I think he meant that he buys a new pair with the voucher and repeats the process again. Essentially it would be paying for one pair of shoes and continually getting a new pair for free. Anything that the human race can take advantage of it will.

Eventually Nike will catch on and see that the same person keeps claiming vouchers from online store purchases and probably will have his mailing address banned.

Personally I hate people who abuse the system, because eventually Nike will stop giving out the 6 month guarantee vouchers.

great! thanks for sharing! I've always been a bit skeptical about adidas warranty because I'm so used to the nike system, and also because I've heard from a couple people before that they got the wrong size and color and everything so its good to hear positive feedback! maybe I'll really give the adidas warranty a try. Ive been only buying barricades off tw and sending them right back to them.

and guys, please dont abuse the warranty system. I've known people who buy a pair of CB4.3's with their voucher, used their connections to get a receipt, and turn it in with their warranty card to get another pair. Makes me mad to hear these things because its nice enough of the companies to come up with this system for us tennis players who are hard on our shoes. you're breaking the rules and robbing from the manufacturer. sure, nike is a huge corporation, but that doesnt justify you taking advantage of their program and trying to be a cheapass.
If you can afford all these fancy shirts and polos and jackets, buying a new pair of shoes after one wore out shouldn't be a major blow to your bank account. Play it fair guys.

I know this isn't that bad but I wanted to keep these shoes nice but this hole is developing fast in the heel and they only have 1 mo. left, good enough?

TW doesn't handle adidas returns anymore. They tell you to ship them straight to adidas.

didnt tw have a thing where if you wear out a 6 month warranty you can send them to tw and they can replace it for whatever shoe as long as its within the range of your purchase price?

TW used to handle all warranties but stopped doing it for a number of companies. Adidas is one of them.

I called TW first, but they told me to send them straight to adidas.

My 7 week old Nike 2K12's.
The bottom has worn through at the left toe and a hole has nearly formed on the top of the left toe also.

Good enough on my CB4.3 right?

It's enough to send it for the warranty because exposure of midsole (form).
I have a question for you. Can you take a picture of back of air max area?
Because My 4.3's have cracking problems with back of air max.
Your wear pattern is very similar to mine so I am wondering 3.3 might be better design than 4.3. Actually I did not have any problems until 4.3 :(

looks like your air max is fine.

I don't know why my 4.3 air max is cracked. I liked comfort of 4.3 but air maxes are cracking
I thought this might be a single problem but I am developing same cracking issue with another.

Here are my sz 12 Wimbledon-colorway Adidas B7s-- they lasted about a little under 5 months playing about 2-3 hrs per week. Fair amount of tread left on forefoot but all gone at the very front. That's an improvement on my CourtBallistecs which I wear out in less than 3 months at the toe and outer heel under the same conditions. I've had 100% of Nike claims accepted and I'm sure these will be too as the hole goes right through.
(apologies for poor quality picture)

Heavy on your heels? Will they refund you for that? seems like the shoe is useless if the airmax is deflated/cracked.

Yes it's my wear pattern. I wear out heel and toe area first and rest of soles is good.

some what reason 4.3 wear out heel areas faster than other CB series.
anyway the shoes already exposed mid sole so I am fine with it.
I hoped this problem might be the only case but I have same problem with my other 4.3. it has a small crack:evil: the crack was developed about 6 week period (1/3 of rubber is still there). I usually use 4.3 between 8-12 weeks so as soon as I see the form, I will replace the shoes. 4.3 was very nice shoes in terms of comfort but Airmax won't support me T_T
Hopefully New cage will not have cracking issue......
I still have 2.3, 3.3 and barricade 5 and 6 so I can use it until new 5.3.

the cracking issue started to appear when rubber parts worn out about 2/3 and seems like as soon as rubber is gone, airmax is completely useless. I don't think I will claim the shoes as defective items because it happens near the end of life.

The heel area got a lot worse and I put a hole in the toe so took them back to the Asics store who said they wouldn't replace them but they sent them off to head office to see what they think. Gonna argue it out them for a bit. You guys in the US have it so easy.

If they think the shoes have worn unduly quickly they'll replace them, but the guy I spoke to on the phone said proving that is pretty much impossible although to get the shoes sent in and they'd take a look.

How long's it been mate? Yeah, he we get 6 months but only because that's a condition of sale. With all non-warranty shoes, sole wear would almost always not be covered unless it was within a couple of weeks ie. a defect.

If your country shoe company does not offer a warranty, there is no reason to replace your shoes since it's not defective.
Offering Warranty is marketing strategy in US since many of Tennis players use hard courts.

Five months. I know there's no warranty and they're under no obligation to replace them but just thought I'd give Asics customer service a bit of a workout and see if I can argue my way to a new pair.

They only got sent to the head office on Monday - haven't heard back yet but I'm expecting them to get in touch next week at some point. I'll let you know what happens.
