@Fedinkum and others, I understand the optimism after the Cilic match but do you really think Fed has it in him to do it in back to back matches ? Raonic is definitely a bigger servebot than Cilic.

Fed didn't do himself any favors gifting that game and the first set.

He might regret that. That was so totally unexpected.

Federer being forced to play on so many of his own serves, Fed can't even get to the ball for so many of Raonic's.

Just can't see Fed getting through this without Raonic's serve level dropping considerably.

As soon as Federer changes the pace and spin, Raonic is prone to make mistakes. Standing toe-to-toe and trying to out-slug the bigger and more powerful opponent is silly. It is Raonic who's making the old guy run a bit. Feddy should change that. Has to S&V more as well.

You know how Federer is hitting the ball nowadays? Like when you tap the flat shot button on Top Spin.

If you time it right, the ball goes wherever you want, you have tonnes of racquet head speed and it defies science and physics. If you time it wrong, it has 0% power, it sits up and the opponent feasts on it and starts blasting you around the court.
