Me too, I am suing tomorrow.I lost a gazillion likes. If I was @Federer and Del Potro I would have killed myself.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want him to overplay.Don't be so greedy.
It should be good for him.
Remember his 6 month hiatus and the results that followed?
It would have been a better match, but I'm not sure about the exposed part. Most of the Next Gen haven't played anyone with Fed's playing style, so I don't see how FAA would have done any better.Fed is lucky he didn't have to play Felix. I think Felix would have exposed him.
Too weak, too slow.
If there was a ranking of likes in deleted threads, I’d be at the top.I lost a gazillion likes. If I was @Federer and Del Potro I would have killed myself.
Maybe taking long breaks and losing rhythm is not the way to go anymore.Don't get me wrong, I don't want him to overplay.
But he was in far from great form when he took that break in 2016. So it's different. He's been so much fun to watch in Feb-Mar, that I don't want it to end.
The goal is always Wimbledon, I believe.Congrats Fed. Certainly didn't expect a win here in Miami after disappointing loss to Thiem. May be first time in his career he has played better in Miami than IW. His return must be appreciated as well. 6-0 6-4 against Kandyman, 6-1 6-4 against Isner and many 6-2/6-3 sets in this tournament as well.
His first big title since AO 2018, the streak of losing Masters final is over now. This success should serve as confidence booster for him. And after showing the world he is not done yet, the goal really should be Wimbledon now.
Nadal fans should be the last to laugh about this after what happened with Nishikori at Madrid 2014.
Yeah.Pretty incredible how Fed has won more Miami titles in the last 3 years at 35+ than in the previous 10 years before 2017 and 25+.
Weird indeed. He prefers Madrid indoor/Shanghai much more.Fed has as many Miami titles as Shanghai, Madrid indoor and Paris titles combined
And its over.
Games lost for fed in last 4 matches :
Medvedev : 6 games
Anderson : 4 games
Shapo : 6 games
Isner : 5 games
If those ignorant trolls are Nadal trolls, show them Madrid 2014Isner was only limping or affected in the last 3 games of the match.
Lest some ignorant people/trolls bring that up , Fed had crushed him in the 1st set well before that.
Did have to play a 3rd set thoI believe he didn’t even have to play a tiebreaker either?
Did have to play a 3rd set tho
Could have been 7 IW titles, but Robin Fraud had to give some to the poor.5 Indians Wells, 4 Miami = Looks like a nice balance now for Federer
Fed's drinking game has declined terribly I thinkMeh that was more of a hangover from IW

Tsitsipas at AO? He didn't play horribly, but he outdid himself with his BP conversion, if that was even possible.Really though, has Federer actually had any tight match where he played well this year? Every problem he ran into was his own doing
I would agree with that, if he didn't legitly throw them away, especially the 2018 one. Can't win them all.
No TB since that first set against Fucsovics.
Played 29 sets after that and won 26.
After that dreadful returning performance in AO R4 match I frankly expected one TB per match
Link ?

His problems were definitely his own doing. His level really dropped after the 2nd set imo.Tsitsipas at AO? He didn't play horribly, but he outdid himself with his BP conversion, if that was even possible.

I loved both those wins equally because they're the complete opposite ends of the spectrum.Miami 17 is often underrated because of the destruction he made at IW, but it was another amazing run that year.
Didn't mention Philippousis and had trouble remembering Hewitt, Andre, Cilic and Murray to an extent
He still needs a break. Just not a long one though like last year.I'm only sad that we have to wait 5 weeks to see Fed play again.
He's been in such remarkably good form the past 3 tournaments, it'll be a real shame if he cools down now.
If those ignorant trolls are Nadal trolls, show them Madrid 2014
Yeah nah no respect for the breaker of tennis. This thread has become a Fede101 thread, and rightly so, but a word of respect for Isner for playing it out despite his pain. Certain players give up when they're down.
Not even for this aspect?Yeah nah no respect for the breaker of tennis.
It was only like hte last game he could barely play. Not even for this aspect?
Yeah and he still finished it. You know Rafa would have retired. It was only like hte last game he could barely play.
Honestly, Agassi would have won Miami 2005 and Montreal 2005 had the Next Gen been his opponents instead of what he actually got.Fed just extended out his record for being the oldest man to win a Masters 1000 title.
Oldest players to win a Masters 1000
1. Federer: 2019 Miami- 37 years, 234 days
2. Agassi: 2004 Cincy- 34 years, 101 days
3. Isner: 2018 Miami- 32 years, 342 days
4. Nadal: 2018 Toronto- 33 years, 70 days
5. Djokovic: 2018 Shanghai- 31 years, 145 days
We really need to enjoy this run from Fed while we can. This is incredible.
Technically he covers the first four spotsFed just extended out his record for being the oldest man to win a Masters 1000 title.

I believe hobbling is the fastest Isner does when he's healthy anyway.Take a look at all these misleading headlines. They make it out like Fed beat a guy in an iron lung instead of mentioning the giant wasn't "hobbled" until the match was basically over.
