Hmm, not sure how this one will pan out. Part of me thinks it'll be a fairly routine win for Nadal, similar to the 2014 AO semifinal but another part of me thinks it'll be a lot tougher than many people imagine and that Federer will at least win a set. The only thing I'm really certain of is that Nadal will be the one going through to the final.

It’s an intriguing match for sure. I think Nadal will win but I think it’s gonna be a good fight!

I didn't hear that at all, Robinson said it would be "extremely difficult" for Roger to beat Nadal on PC and Courier was even more pessimistic, saying, "let's be honest, this will be a very, very difficult challenge for Fed. Not impossible, but extremely difficult."

Yeah, giving up five games in three sets to Nishikori was troubling.

The good news is Fed should have zero pressure on Thursday. No one expects him to win. Maybe there is a tiny ounce of pressure from wanting to win #21. But hopefully it means he will play freely. He'll need greater than 50% BP conversion to win, for sure. He won't have 18 BP opportunities to work with, that's for sure.

RAFA wins with a scoreline that makes it look deceptively straightforward (maybe 4 sets but probably straights).

Fed fans rue a myriad of missed opportunities for Federer.
