This is perfect actually. Federer at least did his job two days ago. :p It will be great to see one of the younger guys winning this tournament for yet another year.

Lol Rafa fans are happy as they should be. I know it was a great relief to get that YE #1. I know you guys are on cloud 9 now.

I repeat -fck those insecure ,weak minded crowds , who don't want a competitive match but want to disrupt game of Opponent of Fed . Aren't they confident in fed's abilities ,that he will beat Novak ?
why the hell do they want to shout when he is serving and jeer at him Shout at him .
Not ready for a fight ?? bunch of loosers :-D :-D. Today Tennis Former stars criticised the London Brit fans.. read some newspapers .

Again My absolute respect to Federer , but fck the crowd who are so insecure and weak lol :D

Federer wasn't bad statistically, 21 winners and 26 unforced errors.
That is not so different to Tsitsipas 18 winners and 21 unforced errors.
Plenty of action in this match :)

This and to add more:
The crowd is trying to disrupt the youngster, who needs more support. How classy. Instead of being at least respectful to the other player you choose to try to put down Fed's opponents.
If someone of these idiots recognizes himself in what I said know that you are only showing how stupid you are.

Just don't understand how he can play as well as he did against Djokovic and then come out and play like this in the next match. Can anybody explain?
Djoko gave maximum effort vs Thiem (without pulling off the win in the end which cost him dearly) and came out flat vs Fed. Fed produced perfect match vs Djoko but could not do it twice in a row. That's what aging means in tennis. Consistency goes.

Are y'all watching the retirement ceremony? Berdych, Ferrer, Baghdatis and Almagro all leaving the game. :( Farewell my friends and thank you for your dedication. The King Berdych leaves us @Federer and Del Potro.

Nadal seems to be the only one out of big 3 who is consistently able to deal with the next gen(that match with zverev aside).

Fedovic is my favourite matchup . They play so high quality that it's a pleasure and treat to witness.

But Brit fans make it impossible to have a neautral competitive match . they fcking doesn't even care for a competitive match . They jeer ,shout ,disrupt and do anything to Distract Novak . And it is not funny .
20,000 fans distracting u is no fun .
I started disliking Fedovic matches now..
It is too much to take for a 16 time slam Champ .
On Thursday ,Novak wanted to get out of the arena asap . I am sure he wants to give them back at Wimbledon 2020 . He will .

honestly im convinced some ignorant people here think cheering for double faults is akin to hurling racist slurs against people the way they go on about crowds. hostile crowds is what IW was for serena at one point but keep going on with teh victim complex

So now, it's all about matchups: if final is Thiem vs Tsitsi, adv Thiem. If it's Z vs Tsitsi, adv Tsitsi.
Although Thiem could be a little worn out due to super tough draw, so I like Tsitsi's chances overall if he's not too nervous.

If the ESPN graphic was correct, I think Federer is 5/34 on break points across all matches with Tsitsipas. Crazy.

It was a great bonus because the way I see it, Djokovic has been the man to beat for majority of this decade. Getting the better of him over the whole season is to this day an amazing achievement. But even if he didn't it would have still been a great season. Nadal's two Majors this year are up there with my favorite moments of his.

The changing of the guard because.....Rafa beat Medvedev and Tsitsipas?
Wake me when the nexgens win ONE slam title between them :)
We've already seen them win London, last year Zverev beat Djokovic in the Final easily.
Heck, Dimitrov won London too....

Wow, what happened to Fed???

He was just a pale shadow of the guy who trounced Djokovic just 2 days ago. 17 forehand UEs and only 1 out of 12 break points converted!!!

All credit to Tsitsipas for taking it to him the way he did but, come on, what the heck was going on with Fed???

I wonder if Federer will be this generous with the unforced errors when he next meets Rafa on hardcourt :)

Not surprised really. Movement was lacking today and it is obvious now that it is affecting staying in rallies. Just compounds the errors and not taking the break point chances. Those 0-40 missed opps are becoming more and more common.
