She didn’t!It would be tragic if Iga lets this little stunt mess with her mind.
Three games away from pulling the Mats trick...making a RG title the first of any career titles.

PSA to all junior girls, aged 10-12. Please learn this technique!
Either I'm blind or we have different concepts of "compact, loose forehands", because Iga's FH is as stiff as the modern ATP forehand.Swiatek hits a more solid topspin forehand than the vast majority on tour.
Largely a function of her more ATP-like technique. Compact, loose, effective forehand.
Ostapenko tooShe didn’t!

Ostapenko too
To be honest: she seems lovely and really good. But being a fan of Nadal?!!!Too bad for you. I love her more now
Guga's first title (and first final) was the Roland Garros 1997 title.Three games away from pulling the Mats trick...making a RG title the first of any career titles.
Iga is super impressive. I haven’t been watching a great deal of the tournament but she’s punishing the ball.

This is obscene now. Those last 3 winners. Just disgusting.
Kenin has been outplayed
Jeezus, people talking about ATP-style forehand being the difference. Very typical TTW lameness. That's not the difference.
If there is a shot that Swiatek is using to gain the upper-hand, it is her *backhand*. Not the forehand. Her backhand sets up her forehand.
I'll agree to disagree from watching every match she'd played this tournament.
Such easy power from Swiatek! Reminds me a bit of the surprise men’s QFist who is also 19.
