Haven‘t read through the whole thread but anyone talking about Lehecka‘s serve speeds? The guy hits some massive first serves and he‘s not that tall! I don‘t even think his technique looks so good - but that‘s probably more a sign of how much I know about that, haha

This is why Nadal has only won Madrid 5 times, compared to Monte Carlo 11 and Rome 10.
The big servers do well here, and Nadal did very little wrong, lost the match in about 5 minutes at the end of the 1st Set and start of the 2nd.
He's playing WAY sharper tennis now than Madrid 2022, easily sharp enough to win Roland Garros with ease.

It’s funny. Rafa used to be scared of Berdych in his draw in their young years before he went on a roll against him. It’s coming back now in twilight of his career in form of Berd 2.0 - Lehecka

Sad ending for Nadal. Guys needs to develop a sense of reality and just realize their body can’t do it anymore. And you don’t even really need to play to do that. I think Djoker should re examine this as well after the Olympics are done. Is he getting there too

Lehecka really wasn't backing down tonight. Somebody dig up how rarely it happened for Nadal not to break serve in a clay match. Must be very rare occurrences.

Crazy power serve from Lehecka. Great hands in volleying, half-volleys too. Made many smart shot selections. Looked pretty decisive win today. An old ATP article from last year wrote his average FH speed is 79.2mph with average spin of 2992 rpm.

There’s a “no drink and post“ policy
