Great record. Another notable record is Nole won 8/9 Masters 1000 tournaments. That's impressive.

That is impressive. I would add that Federer has won 9 of 12 of the Masters 1000 tournaments that have been available for him to compete in over the years (he had missed Stuttgart, Monte Carlo and Rome). Djokovic has won 8 of 10 (he has missed Hamburg and Cincinatti)

So basically as you see, this is a thread where I'm gonna post Djokovics records.

Novak is second in the all-time list of players winning the match when winning the first set. In 2012, he was 63-1 when taking the opener (the exception being against Sam Querrey at Bercy) and overall he is a whopping 534-26.

Novak is the youngest man to win the title in Miami, winning in 2007 at 19 years and 316 days. The youngest woman to win the event was Monica Seles (in 1990, at age 16 years, 111 days).

Novak is the youngest player in the Open Era to defeat the top three players in succession (Canada Masters, 2007).

Djokovic won his first grand slam singles title at the 2008 Australian Open after defeating Jo Wilfried Tsonga in the final in four sets, and became the youngest player in the Open Era to have reached the semi-finals or better at all four Grand Slam events.

Djokovic headed into the clay court season 2011 undefeated since the start of the season — only the 3rd player in the Open Era to achieve this after Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi.

Novak reached his 14th consecutive Grand Slam semi-final at the 2013 US Open, which is the second-longest all-time streak.

With victory over Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in R4 of 2014 Wimbledon, Novak reached his 21st (23 now) consecutive Grand Slam quarter-final (3rd longest streak in Open Era).

In the US Open final in 2011, Novak defeated Nadal in four sets to win his first title in New York and fourth grand slam singles title overall. By doing so, Djokovic became just the sixth man in open era history to win three of the four grand slam tournaments in one calendar year (Australian open, Wimbledon, US Open).

Novak had a 41-0 streak in 2011, the second-best start to a season in the Open era.

Novak had a 100% win record vs No.1 player in one season (5/5, 2011).

''With eight Grand Slam titles to his name, Novak joined Jimmy Connors, Ivan Lendl and Andre Agassi in fifth place on the Open Era major titles list.''

''Novak is one of only four men to be named ITF World Champion four or more times, alongside Ivan Lendl, Pete Sampras and Roger Federer.''

Novak is the first player to win three straight season finale titles since Ivan Lendl from 1985-87. The only other player was Ilie Nastase from 1971-73.

With victory over Milos Raonic in 2014 BNP Paribas Masters final, Novak claimed his 600th match win becoming the fifth active player to reach the milestone (joins Federer, Nadal, Hewitt and Ferrer).

In January 2011, Novak defeated World No. 2 Roger Federer in the semifinals of the Australian Open to reach his second final at the event. This win makes Djokovic the only player other than Rafael Nadal to have defeated Federer in consecutive grand slams.

Novak is the only man to have beaten Roger Federer in all four majors, and likewise Federer is the only man to have beaten Djokovic in all four Grand Slam events.

Novak has never lost before quarter-finals at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia Masters event in Rome.

Djokovic compiled most match wins in 2012. Grand Slam (24-3) and ATP Masters 1000 play (34-6 record). He went 4-1 in five-set matches and 16-3 in decisive sets.

Djokovic’s win-percentage after taking the first set is 95.4, behind Bjorn Borg, whose 95.45 percent came from a win-loss record of 525-25.
