French Open Draw: Thiem and Rafa will not be on the same half.

We don't know what the long break will become for Rafa yet. Rafa has come back from long periods without tennis before also and done just fine.
When he came back in 2013 he lost to Zeballos in his first tournament. He usually needs time to get into form.

He's got Rome. And he will have plenty of time in the early round of RG to get his game going. Keep in mind, he was returning from injury back then, so there would be a certain level of cautiousness in his approach. He is fully fit right now, and can swing and move freely.

Because the conditions are now perfect for him, with roof, lights and so on. So now this tournament is DO. Might turn into his favorite slam.
I know why you do this. You take the worst case scenario for your fave so that even if it becomes true, you can say to people 'hey, I told you so!'. But if your fave wins then of course you're happy.

It's a win-win for you, and this goes on in every tournament xD

How can a loss be a win for me?

An uninspiring slam win won't help Thiem against Nadal at RG. Completely different ball game. I wish it would too, but it won't.

What the heck is an uninspiring win, if it's your first major?

Whoever meets Nadal in whatever round, Guy Forget should give him as much rest as Nadal! That's all tennis fans ask for!

2018 Wimbledon had the roof closed completely for their SF, and Djokovic needed 10-8 5th Set to beat Nadal.
But I guess you didn't follow tennis back then....

Nadal's doctor said his knee will be stiff for the first half of 2013. In fact I detected a limp, whereas this year he's not recovering from an injury....

Thiem must have upset the powers that be.
This could be retribution for Thiem's hugely tarnished USO win.

Djokovic and Laura Clark will not be on the same half...

Plus even in 2017 Nadal lost to Thiem in straight sets 64 63 at Rome QF, and then didn't even drop a set at Roland Garros and destroyed Thiem 63 64 60.
Roland Garros is simply very different.

Wow! It looks like Zverev and Thiem are both on Nadal's side of the draw. Djoker should make the final without burning up much energy. Nadal could have a much more draining trip to the final.

I think that Djoker is now the favorite to win the event. This is huge.

Not really that surprising. All of Djoker's draws after the ATP Cup have been very friendly this year.

So we have all been lied all this time. The draws aren't 50/50, but the rigging of them is.
True story: one time I googled “is it lunchtime now?” and it found an online government forum in Hawaii from 10 years ago where a poster said it was lunchtime, which confirmed my suspicions beyond all reasonable doubt.

I mean it was 23:49 local time but I can chalk that up to the local commies trying to pull a fast one on us smart people who know better.

Knew it. I have my eyes peeled now.

I hope Kyrgios, Shapovalov, Federer and Thiem are on his side of the draw at the upcoming Australian Open 2021.
Tiley can do it!
