I think he, Rafa, and Sampras are the best big point players I've seen.

I disagree. He choked away several opportunities to close out the match in the 4th. I'll give JDMP tons of credit for coming up with HUGE points at times, but Djoko definitely had his chances.

I mean, it's great that he came out ahead but this was much closer than it should have been.

Ok, calm down. First off, those who deserve to win slams, win them. They might almost deserve them, but it always belongs to the actual winner. So, until I see his performance in those next 8 victories you project, no, he does not deserve to win, so let's calm down on the slam predictions.

Secondly, his style bores me. Too good at defense, not good enough offense. There's nothing wrong with amazing gets, but if that is basically the entire style, then I'll take players with more variety any day.

Djokovic is doing Monte Carlo proud. However, he has only won ONE slam per year since 2011. And last year Murray won a slam title and the gold medal. Federer won a slam title and 7 titles overall. Nadal won a slam last year and a slam (and 7 titles) this year. Djokovic isn't even close to dominant.

I think Murray will win more slams than Djokovic each year from now on. The only thing stopping Murray is nerves. He's better than Djokovic when you take away the nerves, which I think Murray will deal with this weekend. The only surface Djokovic is better at is clay (but Nadal has him beat at Roland Garros).

Djokovic is really fun to watch; his versatility off both wings, that almost seamless transition from defense to offence and that slick two hander down the line makes him the second best offensive player after fed in the top four. Although, it's easy to get annoyed by him clearly desperate cries of attention towards the crowd. he tries to hard to pander to the fans' adoration and show visible signs of frustration when the crowd's against him. Who can forget that cringe-worthy post-march dance he did at the USO a few years back?

It depends on Murray. If Murray wins on Sunday he will have won 2 of his last 3 slam meetings vs Djokovic. There is a wave of new talent on the way as we just saw in the semis, so if Djokovic is still struggling with Murray (and still not able to beat Nadal at Roland Garros) he'll struggle to reach 10 slam titles. And let's not forget, Nadal said 2013 was a 'transition year'.
