Consistency seems to be the problem--not just in hitting but maintaining a level of intensity that doesn't let opponents back in. Keeping that pressure after earning a break.

Some great points with TseTse vs. Borna. But then some off the wall stuff.
Same thing with Shapo and Fritz. Some great points, great shot making, but then some drops in level that lets the other guy back in.

The only consistently great thing was Tsitsipas serving until he started frocking up. The rest was up and down.

The +17 guy is supposed to beat the +3 guy. I didn't see the whole match I'll admit that. I saw one of the worst chokes ever though. It's the same story over and over again. There's no one consistent enough to get it done. That's a fact.

This is the WEAKEST ERA in 35 years of watching tennis. These next gen make Roddick, Hewitt, Safin look like GODS.

It was actually high quality tennis but Tsits couldn't close it out when it was on his racket. This is the youngest USO in in 12 years though and the big 3 is going to eventually become the big 2 and then the big 1 as they all fade away. I don't see how tennis is in trouble since Djokovic can't win everything, and he has a lot more mileage than these guys.
