Top 10 of This Era Head-to-Head...Interesting?

Tough crowd - not that I didn't know this already.

You can consider this list "cherry-picking", but I didn't know what the numbers would be going into this, and I don't think that a small edge over the others is a huge deal, and each of The Big 3 had similar winning percentages.
You can call this list imperfect, and it is, though it does tell a story or two.
Honest Question: Who would you choose as, say, 7 or 8 other players who were consistent Top 10 during the last 10-12 years? My original choices were, as you saw, Murray, Stan, Delpo, Ferrer, Tsonga, Berdych and Hewitt...and then recalculated for Roddick. (Both Hewitt and Roddick may have been a little early, and perhaps, Cilic is too "late.")

More generally, most of us have our favorite players - whether by style of play, personality or some other factor(s). That's part of sports. But anyone who doesn't respect and admire each member of The Big 3 should be following another sport.

Big4 dominated anyone, there's no need to choose.

Tough crowd because your stats didn't show Fed is GOAT. They'll accept nothing less than what they want to hear.

That's part of it. I think each of the 3 has plenty of diehard fans, but it seems as if the Fed brigade is either the largest or the most rabid (and dismissive) contingent.
My general "GOAT" opinion is that there is very little difference among the 3, achievements-wise. Fed has the strongest case but he also has 5 years on Rafa and 6 on Novak. To his credit, he is still playing remarkably well at age 37...and possibly even beyond...which will make it tough for some of his records to be eclipsed.

The interesting part is how Rafa is not better considering he is the most dominant player by far on 1 surface (clay) and near unbeatable there.

It shows that Rafa is not as versatile and great on other surfaces apart from clay.

Everyone knows that clay is (by a good margin) Rafa's best surface, but I think that his winning 6 slams and many other titles outside of clay -- with a winning percentage between 77 and 78% on both hard court and grass -- shows he is still quite good on those surfaces.

Yeah he lost 5 out of 7 times outside of clay and those were the most important 5 matches. Also got bageled on clay.

Got dominated, sure thing. 14 out of 25 matches on clay until Fed's 30th birthday.
What's the h2h for those remaining 11 matches? What's your excuse this time?

With too much time on my hands, I compiled the head-2-head records of the players who are likely considered the Top 10 of the Fed-Rafa-Novak era.

Here are the results, assuming my stats and math are accurate:

Djokovic: 173-82 (67.8%)
Nadal: 152-74 (67.4%)
Federer: 156-88 (63.9%)
Murray: 87-81 (51.8%)
DelPotro: 43-69 (38.4%)

Wawrinka: 47-89 (34.6%)
Ferrer: 50-85 (34.5%)
Tsonga: 33-70 (32%)
Berdych 45-104 (30.2%)
Hewitt 20-46 (30%)

Any surprises? Any conclusions to be drawn?
Berdych, Tsonga and Ferrer over Roddick.

Hi Raul. Can you calculate the H2H record of the top 10 in Grand Slam matches alone? Thank you. I am almost sure Nadal leads there.

Why is Hewitt on here? If you're going to put him you might as well have Roddick. Cilic, Gasquet, Monfils, any of these guys would be closer to being part of a top 10 of 'this' era.
