Timmy is turning into a gatekeeper. He beats a Big 3 member(s) (Joker and Ol' Rog)...and then loses to some NextGen neophyte
Same. I also like Thiem the person but not his tennis. If they could trade, that'd be great.I like Tsitsipas' tennis. Problem is I hate everything else about him.
I find him quirky and I like that. Tired of all the PC crap. He is refreshingly dorkyI like Tsitsipas' tennis. Problem is I hate everything else about him.
By quality it is USO final, and it's not even close. So, Tsitsipas - Wawrinka or Federer - Djokovic for match of the year in 2019?
Stef has more mental cojones I feel. I think he will back it up next year, if he wins here.wonder if stef wins this if he'll get the wtf curse b/c every person who has won this from 2016 onwards has gone on to have an abysmal season the next

Berdych retired yesterday, someone needs to fill the void

Roddick's serve is a bit better than Thiem's I think.Stef is clearly the better player so far. He's doing to Thiem what Federer consistently did to Roddick. Block those bombs with clinical ease and dominate the middle of the court and move the opponent around.
Do you play tennis [emoji1]How the **** do you lose 2nd set 6-2 after winning the first?

He’s a ****ing mug. Useless choking crap player.Do you play tennis [emoji1]
It's still closer then you might feel. Can change.. who knowsFull credit to Stefanos, he’s been the most consistent player of the tournament. But not sure how this last set and a half could be enjoyable for anyone but Tsitsipas fans, Dom has been a total no show.
[emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787] you didn't answer the question .He’s a ****ing mug. Useless choking crap player.
Even more annoying seeing Tsitsipas smug face after yet another Thiem UFE.
9 of the last 12 games to Tsitsipas.
A far cry from the start where the opening set was decided by 1 point.
you're just saying that because he's good lookingI find him quirky and I like that. Tired of all the PC crap. He is refreshingly dorky
Hope you lose your job.Hope Thiem loses every match he plays after this.
And yet 33 years old Nadal was too good for him in this tournament, LOL. And don't say Tsitsipas didn't try. He was fighting for 3 hours.Thiem is waning and Tsits seems like he has more in the tank. Oh the advantage of being 21 years old. Those were the days.
It's just one step from that to Kyrgios-Tomic doucchebag-ery.
Unless you think Nadal won because he wore him out physically, I don't get your point. And yet 33 years old Nadal was too good for him in this tournament, LOL. And don't say Tsitsipas didn't try. He was fighting for 3 hours.

It tends to happen when you have to beat Federer and Djokovic to go through to the next round. It's also another thing when you're playing Nadal in a match that you can lose so of course you lose it because you suck.Thiem looks less fresh than Tsitsipas. Here is where the difference is made imo.

Thiem should be at his physical peak. Stefanos not quite at his.Thiem is waning and Tsits seems like he has more in the tank. Oh the advantage of being 21 years old. Those were the days.
Being a bit rushed by good Tsitsi court positioning and bombs of his own..I can't watch the match. Do Thiem's bombs have precision? Are they telegraphed? If No to the first question and Yes to the second then really Thiem needs to work on a bit of disguise to reach the next level in performance.
