Yeah Delpotro isn't a big hitter at all... Do you even comprehend what your are posting before pressing enter?
He can barely hit backhands nowadays. Please.

Really nice picture from younger days. Their tennis going strong still. Who would have thought ??
No tactics. The one hander is not going to work.Been unimpressed by Thiem. He's not making the shots.
It was a QF match and a match that Nadal BARELY won.Yeah Delpotro isn't a big hitter at all... Do you even comprehend what your are posting before pressing enter?
I doubt he would have won a set, so no he wouldn’t have.
If it was Djokovic in the final would it be more satisfying/exciting?Jesus Christ, what a boring story for the 12th time.
Still did though and barely lost to Djokovic in the de facto final under a roofIt was a QF match and a match that Nadal BARELY won.
He’s been unbreakbale today (apart from that second final game). Any time any pressure arised, he bolted down his whole game. It’s been annoying to watch his domination over the years. Boring. But at this stage of his career, you just cannot help but take your hat off.I’ll admit I was bored most of last two French opens but this one has been good
Anybody who thinks Nadal is a pusher or moonballer knows nothing of tennis. Which probably makes that person a great TTW poster!here's the AO data i was talking about:

http://on-the-t.com/2016/10/22/aoleaderboard-backhand-speed/
forehand: nadal > djoko > fed
backhand: djoko > nadal > fed
who's the pusher again?
someone show me data where nadal is objectively a "pusher" or "moonballer" - i'll wait
He's not wrong about the conditions though. Wimbledon was unnaturally baked last year. It was heaven for Nadal in a way Wimbledon has probably never been. As much as I hope we get another heatwave like that I'm not counting on it. come through, global warming.Yeah Delpotro isn't a big hitter at all... As hilarious as your statement.
Novak's fault honestly, he played a terrible match against Thiem.
Still did though and barely lost to Djokovic in the de facto final under a roof
Djokovic with a two-handed backhand definitely would have given a much better match
This Nadal was able to take 6-1 6-0 sets against him. Djokovic is more mentally tired than anything
Relying on global warming which is effecting the world to give nadal another chance at wimbledon.....nice.He's not wrong about the conditions though. Wimbledon was unnaturally baked last year. Ned at 25 could easily have played 4 days in a row.But can you point to instances where you've played 4 days in a row and then had to play Nadal at RG the next day. I'm joking really, but I don't see how this isn't some kind of combination of physical tiredness as well. I can't believe Thiem is 100% physically here.
Sick. Nadal taking so much time to serve. Disgraceful!
And Djokovic was coming off one of his worst periods of his career while nadal just won the French Open for the 11th time. whatever.Still did though and barely lost to Djokovic in the de facto final under a roof

Yup, Nadal winning Wimbledon will literally lead the earth quicker to its doom. I'll trade civilization for another Wimbledon trophy.Relying on global warming which is effecting the world to give nadal another chance at wimbledon.....nice.
Advice to true tennis fans: Try to ignore the insipid comments about "moonballs", disparaging comments about clay, etc. People don't have to like or root for Rafa, but how can you call yourself a tennis fan and not recognize what a magnificent player (and athlete) Rafa is.
OMFG can Nadal learn to play in conditions that don't favor him?Still did though and barely lost to Djokovic in the de facto final under a roof
On the whole, and barring any late turnaround, it's another disappointing performance from Thiem against Nadal at Roland Garros. Yeah he won a set this time but when you look at the whole picture... awful collapse in the first set from a break up, complete collapse in the third set, not competitive in the fourth. And so on.
12 games won against Rafa's 21 (at 1-4 third set).Considering he's beaten Rafa three times on clay you'd have to rank that as a poor effort today. He should be batting much closer to that even if he loses.
