Thiem is mentally fatigued, not physically. Nadal is too intense for a bit too long in these kinds of matches

I think it's connected. I never understand why people say a guy is mentally tired but not physically (no offence). Physical tiredness should in theory lead to mental tiredness and maybe even vice versa, though I have no statistical evidence of this theory.
