It's really strange how he managed to stay in the top-10 in 2015-2016 given his results. Not even a single slam 1/4 final for a year and a half, no semifinal for 2 years and a half.

How did Federer not end in the 10 in 2016 despite reaching two Slam SF in that year

How Nadal managed to stay in the top 10 after his 2015/16 seasons is beyond me. Federer dropped to No 17, yet he had a far better 2015 and half of 2016. Strange system this ATP rankings.

When was the closest he ever came to dropping out of the top 10 during this time? Surely it had to be around 2015/16 when he was a non-factor

Tsonga would have dropped Rafa out had he beaten Stan in RG 15 IIRC ...

Fed had more points to defend, and that was Djokovic's case also when he was out of the top 10 in his slump.

He was #10 or thereabouts in the middle of 2015 after losing early at RG and Wimbledon. His career seemed completely dead and buried.

Much less to defend for Rafa, I guess.

Be nice.
I will say though as someone that has liked Federer for years, it's very weird that so many records we thought were untouchable of his are going left and right to Nadal and Djokovic. Very weird.

Oh yeah, there you go, tell me to be nice...

How about having a go at the idiot that just couldn't resist taking a pot shot at Nadal once again? You don't mind that huh?

Oh so now it's a part of TTW... but I gotta be nice while they run their mouths for over a decade...

Relax, Nadal just binned a Major to focus on RG which he won convincingly.

That should tell you a thing or two about other things too. After "over a decade" you don't know your player.

Anyway, MichaelNadal is right, you either are satisfied with your player or you are not. Everything else is just opinions.

Not more than any other tennis player, and quite a lot less than some tennis players that were a lot less vocal about it over the years.

So, let's cut the BS.

Which injury prroblems do you think Rafa had that you consider real? Actually wanna know.

And this was from 2016. He's had several more since then. Good luck trying to find that many injuries from Federer or Djokovic.

Whether he was injured all the time or not has no bearing on the GOAT debate, but it's just factually true that he's struggled with injuries much more than the average player.

So let's cut the BS.

His "chronic" knee injury in particular is the biggest joke across all sports.

The pinnacle of that parody was the knee bandage that made an appearance in the Shanghai 2017 final: not seen before or after that match for a long time. It curiously coincided with Nadsy being pasted by Feddie all year. These days Nadsy runs like a rabbit, he doesn't even pretend: HC, Clay, Grass, whatever.

Ah, yes, the comprehensive list of Nadal's woes that disappear into nothingness most of the time and mostly don't manifest themselves until he announces them either.

Like I said, let's cut the BS. If you are so inclined, you could post a bit on NN thread, you will find plenty of takers there.

How in any way is pointing out Federer is third showing that I'm dissatisfied with Nadal's achievements?

You've got zero credibility on here, your actual lack of tennis knowledge has been quite obvious.

If you reckon MichaelNadal is right.... maybe you should listen then instead of being an idiot on here and continuously making yourself look like a fool.

He should stick to posting pictures of chicken wings everywhere instead of telling me to be nice when it's common knowledge that you're everything that's wrong with this forum.

How strange that you thought that I am taking about anything in particular that you said, when talking about you being dissatisfied. It is your overall attitude since you returned from a long hiatus: in stark contrast with the events - Nadal equalling Federer's record, instead of seeing you celebrate you run around with that whale on your shoulder.

BTW, while I am talking about a player (of whom I can hold an opinion about what he does and doesn't do right) who will never in his lifetime know what I am saying, you are making personal comments of unsavoury nature. I let it pass just because I don't care, but that doesn't mean that I don't notice how, from your high horse, you are allowing yourself to behave ten times worse than what you criticise. Didn't you understand, I am not impressed from what you or anyone else says, until I decide what is what. You can't and won't change anything, so you might as well give up completely.

I am not sure that it is very few. I can continue, but that topic has been beaten to death so many times that I am actually surprised that a passing remark intended to just reaffirm my position that I hold over so many years is somewhat surprising or has anything new to it. In any event, that is my opinion, someone else might, and obviously does feel differently about it.

I don't want to change anything... nor do I care to impress you... I enjoy pointing out your flaws...

Don't like my attitude, put me on ignore.

You talk about how I behave worse than what I criticise... what a joke... the Fed fan behaviour has been the worst thing in any sport I've been a part of and that includes Collingwood supporters in the AFL which is a miracle BTW...

Retaliation from my end is only "ten times worse" because it's against your idol... and I don't fold or ignore the dreadful Fed fan behaviour like the other Nadal fans do.

So, you can carry on as much as you like too... you won't change anything either... maybe you should just give up all together... quitting isn't in my nature

Yes, you quite clearly have been spouting it over the years... we are all very aware...

So why the need to flap your gums about it again?

Oh, that's right butthurt that Nadal has taken another significant record...
