federer fan, but wawrinka deserved it. along with some other guys, like tsonga, del potro, gasquet, i hope he can have some good results against roger and the other top players in the near future.
i hope he does too but I doubt it, he had a really good chance today. Last big win I can recall was him beating murray at the 2010 USO
Meanwhile, Fed being too nice to Sky, Murray will NEVER be No.1 in the world.
Why are you dragging Murray into the conversation yet again? This is a thread about Federer's match with Wawrinka!
You're obsession with Murray and dragging him into every single thread no matter how irrelevent is becoming really tedious and tells us quite a lot about you!
That's what Fed said to Sky in his post match comments, just stating the obvious my friend. 8)
Yes I know what he said. What I want to know is why you feel the need to bring it up in a thread about Fed and Stan's match?
Voluptuous Vavrinka
Had me on the ropes for 2 sets. But hated to see him give in so easily to me in the 3rd. 300, here i come.
^ What did Rogi say anyway about Andy ???
They discussed about if Fed wanted to be at the top of the year end ranking and he said it would be difficult as he has points to defend and Novak hasn't and included Muzza in being one of the favorites in being the year end No.1.
sure, not easy. but i also feel that if the 300 week record wasnt on the line, roger would have lost.
I mean who would say they don't want to be #1 kind of a stupid question IMO
Stan posted "................" on Twitter 20 mins ago.
#sadfaceforStan
Cause the post match comments are from this very match.
Are you okay? Why are making a big deal out of it?
ahhh Stan just tweeted this 'Thanks for all the support!!! Sorry for the 3rd set........'

I had to work during that entire match and there's hardly anything on YouTube . . .

Looks like they both played well for 2 sets and Wawrinka vanished in the 3rd. I think what rubs Wawrinka the wrong way in these matches is not necessarily the sight of Federer, but the sight of Federer finding his groove. When that happens he almost doesn't bother responding and capitulates. I remember something very similar from their Stockholm match.
Nice number, that 300. Right up there with his biggest achievements.
Another example of Federer's opponent handing him the set/match. It's been a long time since Federer actually won a match via his own good play (rather than his opponents choking).
Shanghai is outdoor my friend! Many people thinks it's indoor, i don't know why....
