No, just enough to earn her a third violation and the associated penalty. So this was the most egregious display in tennis history?
OP always says that in almost every thread he enters, It’s part of his trolling actslol I don't know why I laughed at this
Light a match?I agree she was toast. Let her burn. He should have. Anyone who doesn't think the first violation for her goofy coach didn't light the fuse is being goofy. He didn't do anything technically wrong. But this is sports. This is a final in a grand slam. Light the match and craps gonna explode.

She is a pathetic liar.
She has no respect for the sport.
Disgust.
he said "I am an honest person and I was coaching" on the TV broadcast. Did you miss when they interviewed him? He 100% admitted to coaching. Serena also 100% broke her racket and 100% berate umpire and call umpire a "thief". All 3 violations were valid and Serena was only angry because Naomi was handing her butt to her.
I know darn well you are totally correct.Imagined if this was tomorrow... you know darn well they would never do that at the 5th set and pull one of those game on delpo or Novak
If Crazy Dani Kellerman never received a game penalty, I'll have to call bullsh*t on this one. lol
Thanks for starting a thread to tell us that. Very helpful.Ridiculous.
Disgust.
No, no, and no.It’s a good strategy when you’re losing. Create problems on the court with pathetic behavior. Either you will draw your young opponent into it so that she plays badly and loses focus, or you have an excuse after you lose when you would have lost anyway. Can anyone seriously tell me that she doesn’t know that :
If you receive coaching and the umpire sees it ,it’s a code violation even if it wasn’t your fault and even if you didn’t see it ( although Serena coincidentally came to the net as “instructed “in the following 2 games)
If you have received 1 warning, if you smash your racquet and break it on the ground that’s a point penalty
If you have received the point penalty and you call the umpire a thief amongst other things then you are likely to get a game penalty ?
Then you call the referees knowing full well that they are not going to reverse anything but telling everyone out loud how you always get screwed at this tournament.
Then after you lose and you have riled up the crowd but failed to undermine your inexperienced opponent playing her first slam final you can be gracious and say she played well. Then go into the press conference and say that the penalties may have had a bearing on the result because you never give up until the final ball. But acting the way she did was effectively just that : giving up on winning through fair means only.
You're welcomeThanks for starting a thread to tell us that. Very helpful.
Nike will use this expertly. They shall play both sides. Hegelian dialectic style, muthafuggiz. You know what also going to happen....
Nike gonna capitalize on this moment...
Serena about to make more money and another chapter in her next video or book on this moment...
If Crazy Dani Kellerman never received a game penalty, I'll have to call bullsh*t on this one. lol
No, no, and no.
I am sorry to contradict you but i have some facts you need to know.
Katrina Adams, the usta boss, said very clearly that serena is the champion of champions, and that she is respected by ALL.
I am sorry to burst yer bubble.
Because people want to see a tennis match, not a trial.that’s the thing though. The rules are very rarely applied, but we shouldn’t be angry at the umpire when they actually are applied. We should instead be complaining why aren’t the rules applied in all the other instances and by other umpires. Carlos did a good job in my personal opinion and others should follow suit
You're welcome
At the end of the day this all happened because she was losing. You think she'd be mouthing off at the ump and asking for that third violation if she was up 6-2 4-3? So it was classless to overshadow Osaka's win, no matter what she ended up saying afterwards to damage control because all everyone is talking about is Serena, unfortunately, instead of a 20 year old who just won a major and made history. To me, the bottom line is this. Serena knew she had two warnings. She knew the consequences if she got one more. She apparently felt it more important to vent, argue, insult, berate and make personal remarks to the chair than to win the match. She went over the line plain and simple. She recounted that it had happened before (when she threatened to choke a lineswoman with an effen ball) and in that match she berated the chair. Apparently her default then made no difference to her. She cannot be more than the game. I am glad to see an umpire enforce the rules. I was very sorry to see Osaka bear the brunt of Williams behavior.
Wait....I am an honest person and I was coaching. Isn't coaching dishonest? Irony anyone?
Crazy Dani also never committed a third violation in a match, so why would he? He raved, he ranted, he was an absolute ass, but he never said anything bad enough to get defaulted outright (ala McEnroe) and he didn't accumulate enough violations in any given match to earn a game penalty. Serena did.
3. She has a daughter
Gender bias, man. I mean, person. We do live in a funny world. Novak who I love sits around without his shirt off for ten minutes after a dude somehow gets to change his sweaty clothes with no penalty while a girl flips her shirt around and gets a warning lol. I don't even know wtf to think.
Wonder how many commercials they will make if she has two. Dang Federer has 2 sets of twins and zero commercials.
Wait what! Federer has kids? I thought it was only Serena Williams that has a daughter.
Lol I don't know. But Millman literally is like hey I'm sweating here I'm out see ya. Novak be like ok man Im gonna kick it here while you do this which ok its really allowed In the meantime I'm gonna be cool and take my shirt off and relax. And the ref be like ok Millman go change your clothes. Then everyone is like ok this is cool. LOL.Gender bias, man. I mean, person.
I wonder if it was all due to a visit from Auntie Flo.
That would make me mad too if I was playing for a Slam while my body is shedding unused fetus flesh n’ juice.
