The difference between the Big 3 and everybody else is mental. Thiem just checked out mentally after winning that second set. They would have got even better in this set. It's too bad Djokovic crashed in the semi because Rafa is not good today and he would have had plenty of chances.

This could be a throwaway set now, but you just get the feeling Nadal is more likely to win the 4th set 6-2 than Thiem is to win it at all.

This set he’s more attacking. But it still does change that Nadal predominantly relies on moonballing and opponents errors
