I took tomorrow off so I can wake up and watch tennis on the comfort of my couch instead of streaming it at work lol

How do you manage to stream it at work at anyway. I don't get a second to breathe nevemind stream a game of tennis.

As you very well know, I am ALWAYS rational in my tennis opinions and am sycophantic to nobody.

Should be an interesting encounter. Both are on the comeback trail and both are beginning to round into some form. Delpo has been more impressive as he is the only one so far to put away a top 10 player so if he can maintain his level I think he has a really good chance.
Every player has a chance against Djokovic;)

He made Thiem play. Querrey looks ready for Davis Cup against Belgium on clay.:p Isner and Sock must be on notice too from Captain Courier for their singles spots.
Hmmm...are the three Yanks going to immigrate to Australia???

Next American DC tie is in early '18 vs a team TBD, stat boy.

The last time they played on clay was the FO 2011 when Djokovic was playing some of the best tennis of his career.
And JMDP was on his comeback from the first wrist (right) surgery only to be forced to withdraw at Madrid just three weeks before with a hip problem. That was a 3R match at RG and Big Juan did manage a set.

I like his chances tomorrow...the rust is falling off and could be the difference between the two '17 HC 3-set losses and the Rio'16 HC Oly win.

i think delpo can take him out as well. delpo playing pretty solid. can't really say the same for novak

Y'all think?

Nole seemed to step it up a little today.

And I cried along with DelPo when he ran out of stamina in 4R at the US Open. I'd really like to see him get through.

Novak did better today but he's still far from where he needs to be. Delpo feeling more confident.

I like Djo chances, he managing the swoon or drop in points better, he is slowly finding his game,,6 aces today and 2 set win against RBA who is not an easy customer.
Should be a good match.

The ATP needs have one rule on time between points, right now there is two , those umpires needs an adjustment.

"The ATP Board of Directors has approved a rule change whereby a time violation between points (25 seconds) will be penalized in the first instance with a warning, and the second and all subsequent violations by a fault for the server or a point penalty for the receiver. Currently, the rule is a warning and then point penalty for both the server or receiver."

25 seconds for all players is the rule.

I don't think there is enough time for RG. He will need more time. RG is just around the corner. But one could only hope he finds his beastmode again. Such a joy to watch perfection that Djoko possesses.

You are the best Fed fan in here.

Are you joking or just trolling? That guy is one of the biggest Djokovic fans on here. LOL! It's like someone calling you "the best Federer fan."

It's funny some people still think RF-18 is a Federer fan. You guys need to pay attention.:D

JOhn's ground game looks a lot better, but he likes the clay because the ball is right in his strike zone. Cilic though. I've said it before, but it never ceases to amaze me. How on earth does his back not snap on that serve motion? He contorts into the letter C.

Isner is an enigma. One minute he's losing to everyone, then outta no where he starts goating on clay.

He's probably playing better now than he did when he took 2 sets off Nadal on Chatrier, so it wouldn't surprise me if he won this match in straights. That's why I backed out of my Cilic pick in SDL.

Yeah, he looks good. I think Cilic leads the h2h though. Plus, the let down after an upset, that's if you can call Stan losing an upset.

Yep, 6-1 Cilic in the H2H, but Isner won their last encounter handily and has just nabbed the first set here.
Isner owns Stan I think - not so much of an upset there, specially since Stan has sucked ever since the AO.

Wow! Didn't know the h2h was so one sided. Stan is in a funk. He's really sucked on clay. Not expecting anything anything from him at the FO.
