Let's not pretend a 34.5 years old playing well is easy. You enter a lot of matches not knowing if your form is on point and can always have a crash down.

It's not easy but when you're an ATG in the modern era I don't know. Federer did, Nadal did when healthy. Connors did, though not so much with his weaker serve. Lendl would if he had a cure for his back, which he probably would in this era. Agassi did on HC. Looking back, Rosewall did, Gonzales did. Laver would if he had a cure for his elbow.

Was a good match but Novak was more willing to grind with Medvedev back then which made for less high level offensive tennis than we've seen at this match. Feel like Medvedev is playing at a higher level here and these conditions are more suited to his game.
