This, actually is a Great pic to demonstrate HOW DOMINANT the BIG 3 has been.

Belated congrats to Jannik, he was absolutely fantastic and continuing the form we've been seeing from him post US Open. Djokovic was truly dreadful but he didn't seem too bothered by the defeat in his PC so I don't see why I should be either. Anyway I'm currently at the gym working out to Led Zepellin IV and if that doesn't perk me up I don't know what will.

Looking forward to the final on Sunday.

Looks like someone's been a little naughty filling out their ATP data sheet...

Both men still listed at 6'2/188 cm. And we know Djoko ain't lying (he was always a couple cm taller than Fed and Nadal).

Forget doing a drug test on Sinner - test him for traces of humanity instead. He was a cyborg octopus on a mission out there today. No one was going to beat him.

It was so cool seeing how charming he was in the interview after, given that he behaved like a Terminator on the courts.
I like Sinner's on-court demeanor a lot. That kid can do a lot of winning.

2016 first 2 sets are the reason I think not even peak Fed would win against peak Nole on plexi.

fed came into that match cold just like djoko here.
obviously no problem in thinking peak djoko > peak fed on plexi, but in a series of 10 matches, fed would obviously get his share of wins if wawa could beat prime djoko once and nearly twice.

Getting broken from 40:0, seriously?
In fairness, Djoko played an excellent point at 40-love: strong first serve and a killer drop shot. What Sinner did next was just insane.

It seemed fairly inconsequential at the time, but it turned out to be the point of the match - in every sense.

at 08:05...

Ridiculous! Carlos can definitely defeat a 38 year old Rafa (who I love and adore) right now and is good enough. He needs to keep from getting injured and I am predicting right here if he stays injury free he will win the French Open THIS YEAR!
When it is Rafa and the FO, you cannot throw words like definitely or will win. Carlos will have it more difficult than Djokovic here as Rafa only plays the FO if he knows he has a good shot of winning. I would say it is 50-50 for now.

It was simple Sinner just knocked Joker off the court. He stayed in the rally's and didn’t try to do too much and give up a bunch of errors. He demolished Joker off the ground Joker was lost and had no answers.

Djokovic didn't even have a breakpoint, the first time in all the slams he played stretching back to the Australian Open 2005 when he lost in straight sets to Marat Safin.

Very much agree. 2023 Djoker more than competed with them. 2024 they may start beating him more often and 2025 he will be done competing them. I guess this is how it will play out.

I love Rafa but he is injured and he is 38. It is Carlos's time and if he is uninjured he is going to win this year. Time will prove me right!

He will win and stop calling him tiny. If Carlos isn't injured he will win this year!
Did you not disappear for a good while after Meddy dusted tiny at the USO last year?
Just checking.

When tiny stops the massive, cheating grunting and feral on-court gesticulations, I will stop using that fitting name for him; so far, he seems a tad insecure. Sinner (AO24 finalist) has way more upside, and
a much pleasanter demeanor.

Congratulations to Jannik for getting through to the final in such fine form. This would be a remarkable feat in any event but to comprehensively outplay Novak to win in 4 sets was especially remarkable. His general composure and serenity is a huge asset, enabling him to hone and deploy his game with seeming ease to such deadly effect. Superb stuff.

There was something incredibly poignant in watching Novak play without a game, as it were. One of the Maestro's of the sport, who swept most before him in 2023 and as recently as the YE finals, rendered impotent and looking defeated long before the match ended. I wanted Jannik to win, but had anticipated a thrilling, well contested SF. What actually transpired was sad. To see Novak lose like this on the court that he has made his own over the years was sad.

Jannik has lost only a set enroute to the final and will be fresher than Daniil. He has a very good chance of clinching the title. Will he do it?

I'll add congratulations to @Rovesciarete , and Jannik fans, for this win.

As long as he can stop Rafa I am all for it. Like Rafa fans are bored with Djokovic winning most events, non Rafa fans want a new FO champ as well…Raz or Sinner or Zed .. long overdue for someone else to win the FO.
You really think Nadal can win FO24? That would *no doubt* be Doctor Cotorro's finest work.

"weight room, bro."

I am just responding to the insistent whining of several RaFa fanbois that Djokovic winning saved tennis or whatever crap. In the same coin Rafa winning FO has been a foregone conclusion for a decade and half now so much that non Rafa fans dont bother about the FO when he is playing …not a knock on him of course but just saying…same pinch/same feeling to rest of us when clay season comes around.

To your Q: I have no idea if he can win the FO, but if he enters and if he is healthy why would you pick anyone else over him!?

Agree with Djokovic, a terrible performance. Where was the fight? He usually finds a way to pump himself up, but didn't see anything like that even after winning the 3rd set.

Don't want to put too much stock into it, but wonder if the crowd being on his side messed up the usual way he pumps himself up.
