Tomorrow - Silverchair

From wikipedia:

In 1992, teenage singer/guitarist Daniel Johns and his school friend, drummer Ben Gillies, started playing music together at their primary school. When they moved on to Newcastle High School, schoolmate Chris Joannou joined the pair on bass. They formed the band "Innocent Criminals" with second guitarist Tobin Finnane who soon left.[1][6] They played numerous shows around the Hunter Valley region in their early teens, as well as successfully participating in YouthRock in 1994, a competition for school-based bands.[7] Early in the year Innocent Criminals recorded demos of "Acid Rain", "Cicada", "Pure Massacre" and "Tomorrow" at Platinum Sound Studios.[1]

You, wait 'til tomorrow
You, wait 'til tomorrow

You say that money, isn't everything,
But I'd like to see you live without it.
You think you can keep on going living like a king.
Oohh babe, but I strongly doubt it.

Very hard to drink.

You gonna wait 'til, fat boy,
Fat boy, wait until tomorrow

Tomorrow Never Knows - The Beatles

From the YouTube poster, from the link above:

Tomorrow Never Knows by The Beatles on their 1966 album Revolver.

"Tomorrow Never Knows" is the final track of The Beatles' 1966 studio album Revolver. It is credited as a Lennon/McCartney song, but was written primarily by John Lennon. Although it was the first song that was recorded, it was the last track on the album.

The song is significant because it contains the first example of a vocal being put through a Leslie speaker cabinet to obtain a vibrato effect (which was normally used as a loudspeaker for a Hammond organ) and the use of an ADT system (Automatic double-tracking) to double the vocal image.

Song Title: Welcome To The Machine

Lyrics:

Welcome my son, welcome to the machine.
Where have you been?
It's alright we know where you've been.
You've been in the pipeline, filling in time,
Provided with toys and 'Scouting for Boys'.
You bought a guitar to punish your ma,
And you didn't like school, and you
know you're nobody's fool,
So welcome to the machine.

Welcome my son, welcome to the machine.
What did you dream?
It's alright we told you what to dream.
You dreamed of a big star,
He played a mean guitar,
He always ate in the Steak Bar.
He loved to drive in his Jaguar.
So welcome to the Machine.

Sweetness and Light - Lush (1990)

Lush - Sweetness & Light
Gala - 1990 England

See my life (I've been so tired)
See my self (I've been uptight)
See my life (I've been so tired)
See my sight (I could disappear)

See with you memories fading fast
And with you it's never going to last

You are the sweetness in my eyes
You are an apple in disguise

See with you
I never seemed to look the other way

Only to stay, only to breathe
Only to see
That space and light is what I really need

I never wanted to tell lies
You are the sweetness in my eyes

You are the juice I need for life
You are the sweetness in my eyes
