NEW Prestige MP 360

Strung weight is probably around 335g after overgrip. i will weight it today. The 360+ is a great frame but i struggled with it a little bit on easy depth, rallying. The new one has a little bit more oomph from the baseline. The sweetspot is bigger and i get more spin. The ball jumps off a little more. The sweet feel you got when hitting the sweetspot is still there but maybe not quite as noticeable as the 360+

Should be 320 grams stock. +18 g strings and 5 g og and you should be looking at about 343 g (+-2g). I wonder how you’re seeing 335 static weight and about 330 swingweight, unless your static weight is low and balance point is closer to the head.

Yes I have that Graphene "Ping" on my 360+ MP that was present on my Graphene Touch MP. 360+ is less pronounced and more buttery with a dampener. Mine is strung with Lynx Tour at 50 lbs

My experience is that with PMP+ the ping is even higher in combination with Head Lynx Tour, I like the string but have cut it out twice due to a lot of vibrations together with the sound. I have tried the Champagne and the orange. Doesn't at all give same feedback in my GPRO+.

how do you all string up your mps with full poly? same tension in both crosses and mains or a bit lower on the crosses?

I play with Alu Power 1.25 at 46 lbs/21 KG, really enjoyable.

Thanks for this.

Cilic still seems to be the prestige poster boy, which will sell a net of 0 raquets roughly. They seriously need to get a marketable player to endorse the line, this is why they dont sell so many prestiges anymore....
Unfortunately the Prestige's golden era of the 2000's is long gone, back then we had Safin, Kuerten and Ivanisevic as Grand Slam winners and the most charismatic players on tour.

What do most ppl on here string their 360+ prestige mp with? N what kind of customisations?
I've strung full Lynx Tour 17 and RPM Blast 17 at 48lbs and really like it, but I may start to experiment with a few lbs less for a bit more power. No customization on the Prestige MP for me.

Mine is 27.75" extended with fiberglass and epoxy/resin inside the longer pallet to reinforce where the hairpin ends to the length of the pallet. Strung with full bed of Head Lynx tour 17 gauge at 50 lbs. With the extended length I'll go up in tension to 52 or 53, as I was hitting more balls long than usual

I have tried it with Cyclone 18L (1.15mm) in the Mains and Ashaway Zyex MonoGut (1.22mm) in the Crosses (48/45); Weiss Cannon Red Ghost (1.15mm) in the Mains and Klip Tournament XL Syn Gut in the Crosses (46/46); and it came to me with a Anthracite/Black string that I assume was Head Lynx or Hawk (not sure of tension).

All have played very well. My racquet has weight in the head (spread around 12,2,4,8, and 10 o'clock) and handle (spread between 7" above butt cap, inside the butt cap, and two overgrips). Static weight is around 360g (depending on string used and gauge), I haven't checked the balance and SW, but it's more HL then standard as there is more weight added to the handle then the head.

I got mine strung up with 17ga VS Gut mains at 51lbs. crossed with 17ga Dunlop Expl. Bite at 49 lbs., as a starting point. I think it’s happy with this pairing. I changed the grip to leather and have an overgrip on it, nothing else.

Of course youre right, but there are players that could have endorsed the prestige easily, such as Djoker, Murray to name the most prominent of recent times, its only that Head decided to go another route....as they seemingly continue to do....

Mine came strung with technifibre gut in the mains and a poly in the crosses. I just strung my second frame up with MSV Soft Hex 1.20mm to see how a full bed of poly feels.

Hello all
I've been playing my best tennis so far with tgt345.1 (360 mp without comercial weights)
I come from pt10 and pt57a/b/e and the transition has been realy easy.
I play without dampener, so any wrong vibration would have bothered me. And it did not =)
This stick gives me more spin, more power... And fataly more string eating. Full bed 4G rough at 46lbs broke in 3hours!
Everybody should try this thing =)

Hi, can you please elaborate on the customizations you've made together with final specs? Very interesting.

I'll just add my current customizations and approx spec of my three PMP+:

  • Removed original replacement grip, added really trimmed Syn Leather Tour grip AC126EX (12-13 gram) together with Yonex Supergrap
  • Removed buttcap with included weight (7 gram) and added the one without (3 gram)
  • Added lead 0,25 gram x4 at 6 and 9
  • Playing with Alu Power 1.25 @ 46 LBS
Result is 333 gram, balance of 32.4 ~, twistweight most likely 14.00, swingweight pretty much intact.

Cool, seems like you've added quite a bit of weight in the hoop in that case, 338 strung swingweight as compared to regular spec of 323.

After hitting with FlexPoint Prestige MP, Microgel Prestige prostock (238.1) and IG Prestige MP most recently – I must admit I really don't like the feel of the G360+ Prestige MP. Somehow it could be more similar to older Prestiges (more like Prestige Pro/600 etc.) – but in the end I don't like this racket. Of course – it is better than Graphene XT Prestige MP or even Graphene Touch Prestige MP, but still – I am not going to leave my TGT293.2 for G360+ Prestige MP.

I felt the same until I played around with vibration dampeners (usually don't use them). Strung my 360+ MP at 50lbs with lynx tour, tried a head dampener and a rubber band and it felt much better than without a dampener at all, like a slightly crisper IG Prestige MP with a bigger sweetspot and less feel
