I don't know if it's accurate but the scoreboard shows a 21% first serves in for Marcos. Is that possible?

Llodra is really really really good, particularly in this tournament. Always seems to come up with a good serve on the big points and he's old-skool, he knows the value of every point. I genuinely wouldn't be surprised to see him win it out. Unfortunately the better man won today, so hats off.

Me too. Llodra was playing very well yesterday.

yes but I think sod has more power on returns, serves. We will see how he pulled up from last week.
Watching Yannick Mertens at moment a set each with G. Rufin.
A nice paycheck for one of these guys...solid match!

^^ Rufin serving for the match @5-2 in the third.

Rufin now getting tight with a DF two points away from the match.

But finally saves BP and then converts his first MP.

Good win for the 19-yo!

Yes this was great for this guy because he paid his dues out in OZ earlier this year , playing challengers and got through qualifying of Oz Open and then ran into a hot, angry Tomic 1st round!
Now all the work he did in challengers all last year is paying off.
If he is handled well and they get his physical strength work , recovery period right and...a big "If" ,...they don't rush him...he will be a very solid pro.

Maybe an outside chance against Mischa (who is returning from injury), depends on who holds their form, has a let down from today. (Mischa finally got Tommy!)

To be honest, I don't know much about him, and it's interesting to read this. About the big "IF", yeah I know what you mean. I also hope the media will let him grow quietly.

It is wishful thinking! as long as he doesn't read the press he will be OK!
I just realised:oops:(see my post at #74).. soderling still has to get past sergei stakovsky..and that will not be easy!

sergiy couldn't keep the serving up and didn't take his chances...
hard to predict..Robin served lights out last set.
should be good 3rd set!

sergiy should have stuck with the black wristband!
very tight, Robin served well when it mattered, looked very relieved at the end...nice match.
sergiy is definitely a top 50 contender.

Monfils grinds it out in three. He really needs to start putting in more consistent performances outside France. At times, it seems he can only play his best tennis infront of a home crowd, where he is lapping up the support.

I read that he was booed a little bit during the match for his poor performance. Anybody can confirm this?
