Am hoping for straight sets, but went for Roger in 4. Berrettini has been playing great, and Fed has had some close calls even today. But I think reaching the fourth round in this five-setter will already be an amazing result for him, and I think this will be the end of the road for what has been a great grass-court season for him.
Btw, this has probably been said already, but this will be the second seed Roger faces, while Nadal will have none before the semi, and Djokovic can only still face Goffin (21) in the quarters. Guess who has the only other remaining top 10 seed in his quarter ...
Will this help or hinder Fed? If he continues to come through in straight sets, I think it might actually help him. But if he gets into a long drawn-out battle with Berrettini or Nishikori (assuming that match happens), he will pay for it against Rafa IMO.

IIRC Kei took a set off Novak at last year's Wimbledon. I'm not saying that he's a terrible opponent for Roger - certainly he isn't - but he's a quality player, and certainly capable of prolonging the match.
But on the other hand, if Roger is going to have a chance to go through Rafa and Novak for the title, then he has to be in the right form to straight-set Kei anyway.

Watched a bit of Berrettini today. Just my opinion but I think he will beat Fed. Just a danger that he will go for too much on the forehand, but he has the tools to challenge Fed in his current form.
I’ve gone with Berrettini in four. He’s clearly in form, very dangerous. I don’t even think it would be a massive shock. This is exactly the sort of decent player that Fed has been losing to at slams of late.
Of course, even if he doesn’t beat Fed, he’ll likely do the next worst thing... give him a long match. If Fed gets through this in decent time (under three hours) then i’ll be very very confident about him making the semis.

Sure, but that’s a different match on an outside court. I would assume Diego was getting a lot of balls back, whereas in a match against Fed the points will be shorter. Berrettini won Stuttgart. He’s very obviously in form, has a powerful serve/forehand combo and looks ready to play. He’s also seeded 17 I believe. Looks (and I know they can be deceiving) as though he will relish being on Centre Court too. In other words, fancies himself! Don’t think he’ll be overawed.
If Fed was in great form too, I wouldn’t be calling it this way. But having seen plenty of him this week, he looks vulnerable to an in form player.
Hope i’m wrong of course.

I am not at all sure about Fred and his form.
He looks easier to crack, he has lapses and even the serve isn't the life saver it used to be.

Are you sure? I actually have Fed as the second favorite behind Novak.
What makes you think that Nishi/Querrey or Nadal can beat Fed on this court?
To me, Fed looks sharper than last year. And when that happens the only man who can beat him is on the other side of the draw.
