Laver by w/o every match including the finals. :D

Djokovic restamped himself in last Tourney beating Murray in the finals. Djokovic can win it.

Side Note: I see Tips won a challenger tournament, good to see he can win a tourney.

Cheers

Ur point count off a bit. Dimitrov with win jumps Pouille, but Fed was dead as far as getting top 16. He probably wants 17 seed, guaranteeing a crack at a top seed in R16

Ok got it. but in general, there is large difference between #16 and #17 seeds.

From a Rafa perpective, I just want to see him go deep and play a big player in a slam again. Realistically, I have no real belief he can win it as that would require too much going his way.

An annoying slam due to the time difference as I am typically only able to watch the final, but I'm considering taking a day off should Rafa meet one of Fed, Novak or Murray at some point.

Borat demands a WC for the great Kazakh people and rescinding of the WC to an arsehole Uzbeki. Out with Istomin and in with Nedovyesev!

IMO Dimitrov has a chance of reaching the QF, provided he faces one of Raonic-Nishikori-Wawrinka in the 4th round. He won't stand a chance against Djokovic or Murray, but he is more than good enough to take out one of Nishikori,Raonic or Wawrinka.

Would be interesting if #1 seed also earned home court advantage throughout, as in some other sports. Would still be held wherever the tourney's sited, but in crunch time--maybe QFs and beyond (i.e., "playoffs")--the top seed got to pick and choose attendees. For instance, maybe AM would fly in 15K of his heartiest hearties from back home. ;)

He is a 6 time champion at this event (including 5 out of the last 6) and is still arguably the best player in the world. Why is it surprising?
Its not that. Its the fact people were kinda writting him off before Doha and now after Doha most people consider him favourite.

What if Djokovic and Federer meet in the Round of 16 exactly 10 years after their meeting at the same stage at the same tournament with the roles being reversed this time? Life would indeed have come a full circle.

Well that was pretty silly then. Certainly not me. Like Nadal at the FO till 2014, he is always the favourite at this event until he actually loses.

The reciprocal WCs are the worst thing in tennis imo.

Oh dear, looks like some fans getting too big for their boots again after Djoko wins a 250 event. Funny how they were mainly silent from Wimbledon until now...
You really think it's because of the Qatar Open title? Check out the final match. Nobody recently has played as good as the two of the finalists played that day.

Well with no Delpo I don't really have much of a horse in this race, but I would like to see Thiem do well, but as previously discussed he based his scheduling on checks and will pay for it down the line.

I honestly think Fed is the favorite (much as I hate it of course), and I think his lower seeding will actually help him. Djokovic, despite his Doha victory is still all kinds of messed up after the Great Bollywood Affair, Murray has always been owned by Fed mentally in majors, I don't see Nadal getting further than the QF's, and there are no other consistent threats. Only Wawrinka besides the Big 4 has the firepower to really scare anyone over 5 sets, but he's always unpredictable. Plus Fed is fresh after his 6 months away. So rejoice Fed fans, I believe he will walk away in a couple of weeks with No. 18. And I will hate every second of it lol. Btw I also think he will win Wimbledon as well.

Otherwise I think Botnic will repeat to make the Semi's and join ND, AM, & RF. Hope I am wrong about most of this.
