He played a ton of tennis this week and got back in the groove. Might not win the AO but he should go deep and have a chance to win it.

RBA played great in those last two sets. This is Djokovic's wake up call. I have not been pleased with where he has been standing all week and so hesitant to take control of these rallies and go for the approach shot and come in when he had shorter balls. Must maintain that aggressive mindset at all times.

That must have been epic what a cool experience. He is like a super hero. Lol

You know I have competed in natural bodybuilding events, right? Met him many times, and chatted to him at the Olympia after he retired. Awesome guy.

That was hands down the best performance against Djokovic in quite a while. Best of luck to RBA in the final.

Plenty of tougher warm ups this week for Melbourne. He'll be ready for it...

This summed everything up perfectly. No need to say anymore.

Wow you did? What a life! I loved all the legends. Arnolds encyclopedia of modern bodybuilding was my bible and prob saved my life growing up. Ten years solid of lifting and powerlifting 6 days a week. I learned impeccable form. Just a powerlifting belt and chalk. The induastry now has changed alot tho.

Tough fight by RBA. The guy had a great year in 2017 but somehow faded in 2018. Wish the David Ferrer, Jr. a good 2019.

The loss is bad for Novak only because it took too long ...

You and I should talk bodybuilding then! I have trained with Jay Cutler in the past.

One more thing...
Djoker needs to flatten his FH a little bit more
Don't you feel the same????

He does, his court positioning certainly didn't help, being so far back, he was hitting it higher over the net to reduce margin for error at times.

I'm doing my annual 50 dollar bet for Tomas Berdych to win the Australian Open.

And by annual I mean this will be the 2nd time...did it last year.

you will bet on him again:sneaky:

This is lil blip for Nole, he's still mine and many other peoples favourite to win in Melbourne, actually a loss is better than a win in some cases because he'll have more fire to perform in Melbourne.

I hope Cecchinato wins in Qatar but I'd love Berdych to win on his first tournament back and Bautista-Agut winning would be emotional for him as it would be his first title since he lost Mother (My condolences) which coupled with an abdominal issue kind of derailed the latter part of last season for Roberto.

Wow, well done to RBA. Saw that Novak immediately had a break in the 1st set on live scores while at work and thought alright then, completely forgetting about the match afterwards.

TB was close, did he save any MPs?

Don't worry. Novak is the favorite. I'll be surprised if anyone takes 3 sets off the guy. And no, no jinxing. I don't believe in that stuff anyway.
