Can't believe this is what Wimbledon has come down to.

One of the premier tournaments for attacking tennis and we have to settle for this rubbish.

Very few memorable rallies. Most of the match atmosphere is due to the football later on and the fact the crowd can sense Nole is aggro and prob think it’s funny as he’s a multimillionaire and super privileged. I’m English so I know the mentality!

I always wonder why Novak just doesn't put the hammer down. He has that game available to him - to hit harder, to end points quicker

Granted, he probably knows that if he grinds, he can draw errors and Next Gen will eventually cede the match, but still. IT seems like it could be a bit easier. But, I'm saying this watching it on TV, not standing on court.

i think most people here are underrating him. he's good when he's on, just that he plays quite an aggressive game which causes quite a lot of errors
