Yes, i think he does believe in jinx/anti jinx because I doubt it’s possible to be that pessimistic all the time. But he has the right to be superstitious, if he feels like it can make a difference. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs.

Medvedev is brave and isr rewarded. Same thing with Matteo in the previous round. Fortune favors the brave.

Nadal is playing these neutral points perfectly, almost always changing the dynamic of these points into his favor. Daniil has been amazing whilst BP down, a shame he doesn't play like that when he's ahead or on neutral standings in the scoreboard. His serve/plus one has been really impressive today.
