Maybe to nibble on a Portuguese breadstick quite soon!

Tentative overhead attempt lets Goffin back into the point, and Sousa leaves a lot of court open. Loses the point. 15-30.

30-30. DF, and Goffin has BP. Saved.

Much better timing off the ball from Goffin, at the start of this 2nd set. BP #3. Goffin destroys a pitiful 140 kmh 1st serve, and breaks for 2-0.

Goffin serving at 4-2, love 30 for the 2nd time this set. Shank forehand, and Sousa has 3 BPs.

Sousa breaks back on his 3rd chance. Goffin got himself caught in no mans land there.

Goffin serving at 5-5. Love 30 here, with two Goffin forehand errors. Struggling with his 1st serve too...

30-30. Great response, and he holds for 6-5.

Wow, very impressive striking of the ball from Goffin. SP. Goffin puts away the 2nd serve, and he breaks for the 2nd set. Pounced just in time. Better aggression this set.

Power play league, plus I do like Goofin despite this travesty.
Yeah, I enjoy David as well. Love his technique. A few players whom I like to watch solely because of their technique on the ground strokes. Goffin, Coric and RBA. Probably a couple more I'm forgetting.

Goffin has 2 BPs here. Too good from Goffin. Brilliant depth. Injection of pace catches Sousa by surprise and he breaks for 3-1. Sousa smacks a ball right out of the stadium.

Predictions on China Open greenie?
Zverev vs Ferrer. Ferrer crushed the youth at the end of his big Hamburg run 2 years ago 6-0, 6-1. However older brother Mischa beat Ferrer in 2008. Zverev is up to winning 53.0% of his hard court points since the beginning of US Open. Surprisingly, Ferrer has been close to that for the year and is still surprisingly high at 52.0%. Who wins this rematch? Or would you just punt. Zverev is narrowly favored by bookies.

I've got Zverev winning in straights. I have a strange feeling it's not going to be that close either. But don't take my word on it! :D

I think seeing big brother with the win has me convinced. I just spotted that by accident and its a nice thing to check when scoping out baby Z matches.

Haha. Now for the hard one. Nadal vs Dimitrov. On hard courts Dimitrov has always been trouble for Nadal, taking sets, but never beating him. Last Fall they went three sets and Dimitrov was near rock bottom at the time while Nadal was having a mini resurgence. Based on that, Dimitrov's fine play versus Pouille, and Nadal's poor 2nd set with Manny, I'd lean towards Dimitrov and the odds are attrative. But, I just did some points research and while Dimi starting at US Open is at a fine 53.0% points won, Nadal is off the charts at 56.3% which is much higher than his hard court end of year starting October 2015 where Nadal was at 52.2%. Despite Greegor's improved play I think he's in trouble based on this massive points desparity. Thoughts?

It's always tough to predict a Dimitrov match. Ever since he teamed up with Vallverdu, the results have been steadier and he's winning close matches rather than choking or mentally fading. I think Dimi is due for a "big" win. I suppose he had that win over Murray at IW (or Miami, can't remember), but I didn't catch that one.

Rafa hasn't faced that many top opponents on Hard-court this year. 2-3 against top 20, and 7-6 against top 50.

Miami 3rd round.

Kyrgios easily dispatched Müller in the first set.
Also delivered the weirdest badminton like overhead drop shot I've ever seen in tennis.
(It will turn up in the highlight reels, you can depend on it)

Horror. Umpire over rules and calls DF. Cilic misses return after over rule. Umpire says replay point. Joke. Another shot at break for Cilic. (Deleted post edited so time stamp off)

Fired up Goffin smokes the cheat. Justice.o_O Goffin serving 4-5.

The umpire should find a new line of work.
