Venus V Serena in Women's final. If the men's ends up being Federer-Nadal, it's going to feel like some kind of time warp.
This should come with a warning: Do NOT try to snap a racquet over your knee at home!
Oooops. Let's not mock other people's prediction for a while Marco.Federer and Nadal getting a lot of votes. Dear oh dear.
Serena,,,,,,,,,,,if you reading this,,,,,,you must give this one to Venus if you love her..........This is her LAST chance at a major..............and she may have to retire soon as well.Venus V Serena in Women's final. I'm cheering for Peers/Kontinen, the Aussie of course!Anyone watching the mens' doubles final? I know this is a singles thread, but there is no doubles thread and I think most of the discussion about the final is in match-specific threads now.
Kontinen/Peers up a break, looking for their first slam together after winning the WTF last year. The Bryan brothers have won an incredible 16 majors together.
Bryan Brothers
These points are AMAZING! This is insane tennis!!Me too! It would be nice to see them win a major. Particularly nice for Peers after Murray went on to win the Aus Open with Soares just after their partnership ended.
Anyway, first set is theirs!
It was either the right handed one or the left handed. That was a nice speech by whichever Bryan brother that was (I'm doing something else at the same time and missed hen they said which one was speaking).
Kontinen is not Finnish!!!!!KONTINEN/PEERS WIN!!!
KONTINEN/PEERS WIN!!!
I predicted there will be a surprise winner
But is Federer a surprise winner ?

Well said I totally agreeI think under the circumstances of being 35 and out for 6 months prior, then yes. Similar to the man himself, I had him out in the quarters. Full credit. Great performance by both him and Nadal to get there.
Oh boy, remember these times?Murray was a 1 to 100 favorite to win the 1st quarter, lol.
I don't think he'll ever win the AO
Good opportunities for Fed and Nadal.
Raonic probably the favorite now, Wawrinka could be up there too
Damn, this looks like it would've been a fun match to watch. Anyone see the full thing?
Oh boy, remember these times?
The times when Raonic had more than 5% chance to win a Slam?Oh boy, remember these times?
It's incredible how some actually made Raonic the favorite for a slamThe times when Raonic had more than 5% chance to win a Slam?
Not that I recall

Some posters here. When was that? I was following the betting odds throughout AO and IIRC once Murray went out Fed and Rafa alternated as betting favourites (Rafa was the overall favourite but Fed would takeover every other day as his half played first).
Oh boy, remember these times?
Raonic being considered a favorite for a slam.Forgive me?
