He can tune up on private courts in Switzerland. I just don't think the risk of injury or the excess wear and tear is justified given his bleak hopes of winning the FO.

I don't have a strong view one way or the other, but I disagree.
First of all tuning up on private courts is NOT the same thing as match play.
Secondly, his game has never been one that made him prone to injuries.
Thirdly, he will not kill himself to win matches, he'll just go with the flow as he always does.

He was commentating for Amazon Prime in Barcelona. He sounded pretty good. It's always interesting to hear comments from someone who was a recent player with some high profile wins in his resumé.

He’s been commentating on a few matches on TennisTV recently and thought he was good. His vocal tone and accent (excellent spoken English) are very listenable, his manner unassuming and his comments insightful. He only recited anecdotes about his own career if prompted by the other commentator, unlike Becker and his endless gushing “when I worked with Novak” stuff, but when he did they were interesting, such as his description of what it’s like to work with a sports psychologist. According to him, most top players have one, they have to know your game, and it’s fun. Who knew? Would like to hear more.
