Hopefully folks like Yugram , Sephoroth , Raphael Nadal , weakera don’t speak bad about Fed for few days
That's 2 matches in a row now where Federer has dominated Djokovic. The Wimbledon outcome was an anomaly as Federer was the better player which was reflected in all the key stats.
Hopefully folks like Yugram , Sephoroth , Raphael Nadal , weakera don’t speak bad about Fed for few days
It’s almost like they’re two of the best players ever and thier matches are often really competitive and close....More sets won, more games won, more points won, more return points won, more breaks, more winners, etc., etc. Sjokovic is damn lucky Federer have away a Wimbledon title that was in the 38 year okd’s hands the entire match.
At Wimbledon
Total points: 218 to 204 in favor of Federer
• Breaking serve: 7 times for Federer, 3 times for Djokovic
• Receiving points won: 79 for Federer, 64 for Djokovic
• Dominance Ratio: 1.16 in favor of Federer
• Winners: 94 for Federer, 54 for Djokovic
• FH winners from baseline: 18 for Fed, 14 for Djokovic
• BH winners from baseline: 7 for Fed, 8 for Djokovc
• Volley winners: 22 for Federer, 3 for Djokovic
This is the most one player has been better than an opponent in a slam final and still “lost” from matches we have numbers for.
At WTF with #1 on the line for Djokovic

Good win but Djokovic ducked him hard in 2017.

The only thing that matters is who wins the match. Amazing how Federer easily disposed of Djokovic in a mickey Mouse tournament. S%*t the bed at Wimbledon, couldn’t play the big points properly and that’s what the sport is all about.
Wasn't just that. Federer ruined Djokovic's chance to finish as YE #1 and tie Sampras' record for a 6th YE #1. That's pretty relevant. And now Djokovic goes into 2020 to defend 2000 points at the Australian Open so there's not much margin for error. He's got basically no breathing room.Federer easily disposed of Djokovic in a mickey Mouse tournament.
That is a lot of salt. Oh my..“Champion” Lol. Didn’t play anyone until he got to great grandfather Federer and then couldn’t earn a breakpoint against the old man until late in the 4th set even though Federer was serving like 115 mph. Then, GreatGrandPaerer benevolently gave him the match that was in the Swiss Octocentuarian’s hands the entire time.
Take a bow, Legend - 38 years old and still playing at this level
Yes, the hairstyle is the same.Emotional win for the old man
They need their arrogant asses handed to them on a platter after their frenzied s-it posting spree after Wimbledon. At the end of 2015, Djokovic fans said it was a given that he'd hold the record in WTFs and YE#1's. After 4 years...
Wait... he's the "GOAT!" "Stats" prove this! Get on board, buddy, you're late to the train.Wasn't just that. Federer going a putrid 4/23 in BPs against Djokovic at US Open 2015 is another telling stat that Federer simply can create numerous opportunities but not capitalize on them when he faces Djokovic. That's actually almost as bad as Federer going 1/17 in BPs against Nadal at Roland Garros 2007.
I think the only reason Federer stays around anymore is to give himself a chance to defend his legacy (which quite honestly doesn't need defending) by preventing Djokovic and Nadal from further taking chunks out of his backside.
Novak might retire by then. I'm expecting Federer-Sinner final.Already looking forward to their WTF RR match in 2023.
When Tsitsipas wins today fedr will be blamed for inspiring the Greek with his ohbh all-court style.Hopefully folks like Yugram , Sephoroth , Raphael Nadal , weakera don’t speak bad about Fed for few days
OhYes they do!They need their arrogant asses handed to them on a platter after their frenzied s-it posting spree after Wimbledon.
Djokovic won by the skin of his teeth and was lucky grandpa choked. That's all there is to it.That is a lot of salt. Oh my..
Fed handled Novak just fine until the end of 2012.These are the posts that hurt the most. The ones that he should had a good long hard look at and sanely concluded that his game needed to be altered to beat these guys. He really should've had a better plan against Nadal by 2007 and a better plan against Novak by 2012. His story, all 90 square inches of it, will be one of truly epic stubbornness.
Pretty much. All three of them know how much work it takes to stay in this war and seeing them sit around that table having a casual chat about it like it's nothing is just surreal. They must absolutely hate each other. Can you imagine Mac, Jimmy, Ivan, Borg, Becker, Sampras, Agassi etc sitting around like that when it just keeps dragging on and on and on... and on... and on...? I honestly think Fed might be the last one to retire.
But is an exho no? Rafa fans won’t care about him losing, he has number 1 in the bag. When Tsitsipas wins today fedr will be blamed for inspiring the Greek with his ohbh all-court style.
