It's a shame Tabilo and Hurkacz threw away the matches against Grigor, would've loved to see an Alcaraz Sinner final.

I know it's early to say this but, IMO, Sinner is, at least making the SF of the FO. Even on clay, besides a great Alcaraz or Djokovic I have a hard time seeing who is going to beat him if he's playing decently , his shot tolerance in long rallies and his power are going to be a nightmare for almost everyone.

Sinner is the new Djokovic. A baseline robot with powerful ground strokes and really good movement. He’s got no slice, no net game and all his points look the same. It’s the ideal style for winning in the modern game. I personally find it boring. Federer’s decline and retirement hurt the game so much in terms of entertainment.
true.

i hate tennis right now

The sort of win you would be hoping for, probably. Of course, the dream is always to have some epic encounter in a final. No disrespect to ol Grigor, but this is the sort of beat down you crave. The top player giving the mid-player a good spanking.

Happy easter.

While I am in the same boat with the general sentiment, Sinner is pretty respectable in the forecourt.

Well we will see what happens on clay. I don’t how good the field is gonna be. Sinner could possibly dominate that surface too and surprise everyone. This tour looks in pretty bad shape against sinner right now

I expected nothing and I'm still disappointed.

Oh well, still got a lot of entertaining tennis out of Grigor this week. Was a pleasure to watch him in full flight against Alcaraz & Zverev. And he saves tennis by getting a 1HBH back into the top 10 again.
Djoker has that crazy side that spices things up.

Nobody is going to beat him from the baseline, not even Djokovic. His ground strokes are powerful and elite from both sides and he’s moving at an elite level. The only guy that has a shot is Alcaraz with his droppers and variety.

Djokovic doesnt even beat Fritz from the baseline nowadays. Alcaraz is the only one who is capable, just like he did in IW. Alcaraz must be better from the baseline to wing against Sinner, because his serve and return are worse. Carlos will really have to be Nadal’s successor to dominate.

Well, went on a bike ride, got back, and it’s already over. Looks like Sinner lived up to his top billing and Dimitrov showed us why he hasn’t many titles…

Exactly this. Another Djoko clone is born with a more boring personality. Jeez! Alcaraz better step it up.
