This would be crushing. To tweak a hip flexor in a match he won SO easily, this would be so sad for Andy, I hope he's OK, I really hope he can continue and play well.

Did I hear him correctly earlier? I think he said this match will decide the #1 spot.

If he did then he was getting on my **** before the match had even started
He said that no matter what happens here, it won't affect Djokovic now being world number one when the new rankings are out.

@Hoodman: I wish I had good memory so I could note down all the ridiculous things he says.

OT. I saw Andrew Castle at What The Fuu finals last year, he's a giant. ~Fascinating discourse, chum. :)

Very brave from Murray to play even though he's injuried, his fighting spirit is unparalleled. It would be a real miracle if he's to win this match in such a condition. Let's pray for Andy and hope for the best.

People always says that. Alas :(

True. I think the commentators played up his chances in this match WAY too much, Rafa the favourite, even with a dodgy foot and if Murray DIDN'T have a hip problem.

Both guys are hurt, Rafa usually starts fairly slowly, warms his body up, holds his serves, this should be doubly true today with the foot. Murray has to win the first set to have ANY chance.

why do they show ma franscica's face all the time and talk about her like she's of relevance to us. Her face is the same all match long you don't need to zoom in. sigh

Called a trainer and is moving fine. Disgusting behavior right? What a cheater etc etc.

Wait. Wasn't Rafa who did it, nevermind. Legit injury.

Murry making too many easy errors.

I think he's decided on Rafa's serve, when they're on serve, to swing away. It's a good strategy as it will help him find his range, and getting Rafa on the run is going to test his foot. Plus it shows that he feels confident that he will continue to hold his serve.

Perfect example of a player calling the trainer for a possible MTO then waving him off. Seems Murray's hip has loosened up.

Commies especially British ones always exaggerate his chances.
It's true that Rafa tends to start slow. Let's see how things pan out. If this goes to tiebreak, I'm more confident that Murray will take the first set.

Nadal needs to keep Murray moving from left to right... put some pressure on that hip flexor

No, everytime he plays Murray he returns like crap and make's Murray look like Sampras until it gets to 4-4 for some reason.

Very smart. Ally McCoist, the Rangers and Scotland striker, used to do something similar in football. The first couple of balls over the top he'd run for at about 70% pace. The centre back would reckon he had the measure of him, and relax. The next one he'd go for at 100%, centre back caught unawares by pace he didn't know McCoist had, goal.

Don't you know the rules? Let's say of 100 players were on court it did the same thing they would all be excused whilst Rafa would be called and cheater.
