Just lol if you think Federer is really, really not going to play until June the 19th. He's playing clay.

Kokk will lose to Fiasco. I would be shocked if he advanced further.

Was thinking about his overall career not momentum in this tourney.

If I'm not mistaking him for someone else, the Kokk was almost thinking about retiring recently because he's so injury prone already at such a young age.

Maybe Fed should not have been in Chicago and at the beach - maybe taking a littler more serious preparation was the right thing to do.

Nadal getting number one while fishing....first time ever in the history of professional tennis...what a guy.

And out goes Fed. He lost his forehand in that 3rd set and again just could not find that crucial break in the 3rd set. Kok played well, but should have been warned more than once for going over 25 seconds. He was well over even after being warned.

In that case, a good win for Kokk. I support him to at least win his next match :)

My god  Nadal will vulture those weeks at #1 now..

Federer has to play clay.

Nah. Federer already has the most weeks at number 1 and there's nobody who's within touching distance.

Rest up and get ready for the most important tournament in tenni - Wimbledon. Time to try to get 21 , 9 slams more than Novak.

I know they've never been fast, but the Indian Wells and Miami courts have both looked so slow this year. Fed having to sustain these rallies is tough. He was just holding on in this match.

Damn. Fed had chances in pretty much every Kokk game in the 3rd while cruising behind his own.
Had he made that chip and charge return at 5-6 0-30 he probably wins. Pretty horrible breaker again.

Congrats to the Kokk on his biggest career win. Came up with some big forehands and serves in the 3rd.
And congrats to the new world no 1

I won't read anything into this for now. Didn't manage to get into the court and conditions, and ran into a qualifier who had already played a bunch of matches and was. Add a bad day at the office, and you get a loss like this. To be expected to happen at his age, more surprising that it hasn't happened at the big events last year and this.
