Same old story..
Djokovic = fear incarnate for Federer/Nadal
It has nothing to do with that. Pros don't think like that. If that was the case then Djokovic was the one running scared last year.

I know my comment won't dent your hatred but sometimes it is better to live and fight another day than to cause some permanent damage.he should have finished the match
eat your 6-0 like a man, if anything for respect for your opponent
not retire like a daisy
Nadal could have easily finished the match - it would have taken 15 mn more onlyI know my comment won't dent your hatred but sometimes it is better to live and fight another day than to cause some permanent damage.
I was under the impression that was already a bunch slower than the 90's. But yeah. Unfortunately, now we have Isner.
But the solution for Isner in terms of court conditions is quite simple
Ban Isner from the tennis court
something we can agree on
That doesn’t mean squat but we will see.
There still aren't many of them for that to be an issue.
And I still don't buy that faster conditions always help a guy like Isner. He needs a high bounce for the ball to be in his wheel zone.
He looks so sad in the presser. Poor guy.
It has happened here before. Just saying.
Lol.Did Gilbert just give Del Potro hypothetical 5-7 Slams if he was always fit?
Should of seen him at RG in '09.
There’s not much you can do with patellar tendinitis and if you’re a tennis player you’re absolutely going to try and avoid surgery at all costs.I guess I'm skeptical about the severity of the injury. Other players have had surgery and whatnot. He hasn't. Not saying there's no injury at all, or that anyone has to agree with my take, but there's a pattern of retirements as he's losing.
I'm trolling him hard right now. Guy's a joke. Here he ****ing goes..

Wish he would just shut up for once.
i actually think people were saying that the reason they slowed down courts was to help americans like isner, and that he needs more time off the ground. which annoys me even more

Anything that temporarily improves creativity, focus should do.Too bad their are no PED's for journalists/media to take...
In all fairness, isn't it exactly the flipside of what Federer did last year?Vulturevic back at it again? Losing to bums like Cecchinato a few months ago and then when Fedal have fitness issues he's suddenly a multi-slam year contender.

He said Big 3 would have less though.Take away 3 from Murray and 1 or 2 from Stan.. sounds right
looool
good one
guessed he also had knee « injury » that day, no?
but can Nishikori beat an inform Delpo if that happens again?
One of the reasons I hope he doesn’t win on Sunday.Did Gilbert just give Del Potro hypothetical 5-7 Slams if he was always fit?
Not so sure about Nishi losing final. Hard to go against Serena for sure but I like Osaka a lot and I will cheer for her in final (despite not being Japanese )Can you imagine what it would be like in Japan to be represented in both the male and female finals?
Sadly for them though, if it did happen, both will lose the final.
One of the reasons I hope he doesn’t win on Sunday.
No doubt he would’ve won another major or two but he’s so overrated.
Hey, he’s underrated. Can’t believe they killed him off so soon.Darth Maul of tennis, you say?
To be fair it's not his fault that Gilbert or anyone else exaggerated. One of the reasons I hope he doesn’t win on Sunday.

He probably would have if it were a final, out of respect for Delpo. Here, there was no need to finish.Nadal could have easily finished the match - it would have taken 15 mn more only

Did you watch Delpo from 2009 ? He was a completely different player . He would have been 3x the player he is now
Wait. I thought if he continued one minute longer his career would be over. Why would a final be different? He probably would have if it were a final, out of respect for Delpo. Here, there was no need to finish.

Hey, he’s underrated. Can’t believe they killed him off so soon.
He didn't develop the possum game yet.
And the Epic factor?78 people picked nadal to win and they all knew he had a bad knee?
Disppointing. Don't have too much expectations for the 2nd semi.
I do feel that Novak-Delpo would be a better final though. Really don't want to see a repeat of 2014 here.
Almost certain to hit #2 as Federer drops his Shanghai and Basel points.Delpo secured #3 position in the ranking whatever his result in the final.
Come on man, he looked so cool.I think you need to inhale a little more. Or cut down on the GIN.
.
No he is not avoiding Djokovic but he is avoiding a bad score line perhaps. Delpo took the first set and that is pretty good for his prospect even if Nadal was healthy.Have people even watched this tournament at all? Nadal’s knee has been an issue for a few matches now and it showed. “He’s tanking to avoid Djokovic!” seems to be something a lot of Federer fans seem to be saying when their man got smacked around by a bum even without any ailments.
OK until that spot. Very difficult for him will be he goes all the way to #1.Almost certain to hit #2 as Federer drops his Shanghai and Basel points.
