Really? Ugh I'm glad it's Kukush today (better vs him than vs Fed or someone like that).

Yes. Or Rosol. This may help Kukush get in the vicinity of winning a set, but it won't be enough for him to win the match.
Anyhow - when does it start??

Wow again that umpire, I always see him when Nadal is playing :D
But I usually only watch the later stages like 1/4 finals

Correct me if im wrong but is this the guy who supported Rosol during the 2012 match and the guy who the camara kept panning to and refering to as Rosol's friend? I swear its him

Wow! Kuku looks pretty good actually. I know it's still very very .. very early but I like his game plan. His BH almost hits exclusively DTL to Nadal's BH and this seems to do the trick. If only he maintains the rhythm of his serve and this game plan, then maybe? Oh, I just got carried away ...

Anything is possible with Nadal at Wimbledon. :)

If Nadal loses another set today he is not winning Wimbledon. You don't win a slam when you keep on losing sets to all the players. If he loses a set today, he will lose in the QF or the SF. Looking at his history. Similar to the days when he couldn't reach hc slam finals. Before 2009.

I don't think Nadal wins the tournament but I disagree with you here, Nadal lost 2 sets to Haase and 2 sets to Petzschner in 2010.

Nonsense. He's done it before. Losing 1 set is no big deal especially if it's the first.

Give it up already. This is not a prediction but wishful thinking because it makes no sense. Nadal could drop 2 sets today, 2 more sets in the next round and still win the title.

you have to take into consideration court time and fitness though

he may be hafa but he doesn't have unlimited reserves

That's 2 players not all the players before SF. Looking at Wiki he lost sets to those 2 players but then won in straights against the other players that year. In 2008 he only lost a set to one player before the SF.

So the years he won wimbledon, he lost sets to one player in 2008 before the finals and to 2 players before the finals in 2010. My pt.

Kuku doing well on one point and falling on the next. If he can time the ball right Nadal can do nothing to hurt him but he is tending to miss more than hit.

Another great point! i like Kukushkin's tennis. He has alot of control and structure over points and doesnt tend to just ballbash but when put under pressure he is capable of some nice angles on the FH and BH side. That BH to hold was excellent!

No my friend. He could play 5 setters every round and still not be affected for the next match. Plus this is a slam where you get a day off after every round. So unlimited reserves for all practical purposes.
