Perhaps in terms of nerves, it is an advantage to be a rank underdog, esp a teen, than a mid 20s player who knows what the occasion means.

Surprised Konta flunked that 5-3 lead considering this is her 3rd GS SF, and on a surface no one even expects her to perform well on. As usual the British media getting ahead of themselves going on about the last time a British female made a F or won a GS... 1 step at a time guys...
