Completely disappointed. Hopefully Carlos can shape up. His serve not great, and it looks like he is having trouble keeping the ball above the net when returning Sinner's flat balls.

I feel like Alcaraz goes too big on his first serve. He has a bit of a braindead ball basher type approach on that shot. That's one part of his game that could potentially desert him when he's feeling the pressure on the big stage. I think he should sacrifice a few mphs for a greater first serve percentage and better placement. A guy his height ain't gonna be bombing in 135 mph first serves with a high enough level of consistency at the top level.
You can if you are Roddick.

LOL a walkover will hurt Djokovic more than Sinner in the QF. Who said slams do not have byes. QF will be a bye

Unfortunately nerves are getting Alcaraz. He’s been rattled by Sinner’s returning and CC.

He will raise his level but it might be too late with the way Sinner is running through this match

TTW is full of OVERREACTIONS. Alcaraz is supposed to be an ATG. A 20+ SLAM WINNER.

Dude - hasn't made beyond the QF. He is getting dominated by a player like Sinner. Lots of folks said Alcaraz is FAVORITE vs Novak. LOL.

Tiny Carlos has a LOT to learn. He has talent and the tools, but he is NOT steady and doesn't make the right decisions at all. We don't even know if he will EVER win a slam.

Errors, Errors and MORE errors from Alcaraz. His forehand is totally spraying all over the court. Gets BREASTICKED. Humiliating.

Roddick had an incredibly lively arm (like a once in a generation type situation) so bombing down big serves without sacrificing accuracy looked like it came very naturally to him whereas Alcaraz always looks like he's over reaching without a great deal of regard for precision on that shot. Pretty sure Roddick also had a good few inches on Alcaraz. I don't think Alcaraz has the type of physical attributes required to reproduce that that level of serving anywhere near consistently enough at elite level.

That was embarrassing from Alcaraz at 30-30.

He got back into the rally miraculously and has Sinner under pressure but tries a winner from nowhere.

This is the difference between the Djoko/Nadal’s off this world. You have to stay in that rally as your opponent is visibly under pressure. Just keep pushing and you’ll get the error. But he’s too aggressive
