No kidding! And now Rune pulling those kinds of stunts. No surprise they've both working with Patrick Mouratoglou.

Glad others are starting to see the genius of The MucheteIn contrast, Musetti beat Carlos in Hamburg (clay) last year. Because Musetti, unlike Tsitsipas, has a world class 1HBH which he can redirect at will. There are so many options Musetti has with that 1 hander. That's what you need to be competitive against Alcaraz. You need to be solid on both wings. With a very obvious liability like the Stef BH, Tsitsipas is severely limited against the best all-court player of this era. There is nothing he can do.
Maybe if he had a better cross court backhand he wouldnt need so much a bckhand dtl, but its usually short and when he gets rushed on that wing he is rarely able to produce a quality shotTsitsipas does not have a BH DTL, can't redirect any balls on his BH side down the line. So right off the bat he gives off so much court for Alcaraz to execute his plan to perfection. Unless Tsitsipas develops a reliable, consistent BH DTL he has no prayer against Alcaraz on any surface. Absolutely none.
I've always recognized his genius. He just lacks the head.Glad others are starting to see the genius of The Muchete
So far, I'm praying he will get thereI've always recognized his genius. He just lacks the head.
I had the exact same words on an Instagram story during Madrid last year hahaCarlos is peak tennis.
He'll have to go through the two greatest players of all time to do it...best of luck.Alcaraz seems like the best bet for Roland Garros
Yay i got it rightThe 24 year old to lose to the 19 year old in straight sets
Literally pandemic. All a bit too EZ for Alcaraz. That's 9 titles now before turning 20.
However, Nadal managed 16 and Borg 17, so Alcaraz is clearly a huge failure.
On the contrary, it's beautiful to watch Alcaraz beating everyone, including you.Its gonna be an ugly Tour unless Sinner is around to stop this and give a good rivalry. . These are other players so bad. Tstsipas is just getting worse it seems
Absolutely. But it was very one sided. Tsitsipas has to try at least make it competitive. But yeah he was no threat to Carlos in this form.People pounding on Tsitisipas...but Carlos would have beaten anyone today.
The raw power from both wings while taking the ball early, often inside the court, combined with the softest of hands is truly a deadly combo.Part of the reason why Alcaraz can use the dropper with a higher frequency then anyone else though is the space and threat his forceful pressure off both wings opens up to him. His tempo is extremely high and brutal.
Sad but high quality goat level opponents.Tsitsipas has now lost his last 5 finals.
That's why I was disappointed that Musetti wasn't going to be Alcaraz's rival in the Barcelona final.Glad others are starting to see the genius of The Muchete
0-10 in 500sTsitsipas has now lost his last 5 finals.
If he can defend his Madrid title then he'll be right on Novak's butt. And with Novak winning Rome last year while Carlos skipped it, he's got a good chance to be #1 by RG.Alcaraz 365 points behind Djoko in ATP live rankings now (6770 for Alcaraz to 7135 for Djoko)
Berrettini. Almost didn't recognize him in a tux.Fabulous! Who is the singer?
BornaGOATSad but high quality goat level opponents.
I just checked his opponents. I had no idea fricking borna coric was a Masters 1000 winner. Honestly last year with Novak getting banned, I skipped tennis for most of the season.BornaGOAT

0 improvements since 2021.A pretty expected result, considering Stef couldn't even beat Carlos here last year.
I agree. Alcaraz isn't invulnerable and has had issues with Musetto and Sinner. Matchups make the game interesting. That's why I was disappointed that Musetti wasn't going to be Alcaraz's rival in the Barcelona final.
I hope the Italian can defeat the Philosopher the next time they meet.
Musetti will be the dark horse at the next Roland Garros.
Him taking off 2 sets off a gassed Djokovic in the FO final in 2021 was so overrated. Then to get trounced in straights in his second GS final against an injured Djokovic0 improvements since 2021.
Stefano Tistsipas -- "No one beats Stefano Tsitsipas 4 times in a row...umm...I mean 5 times....no, 6 times...no, I mean 7 times...no no...8 times.......sorry, I meant 9 times..."
Djokovic wasn't gassed. First set was very high level tennis. And second was the same from Tsitsipas.Him taking off 2 sets off a gassed Djokovic in the FO final in 2021 was so overrated. Then to get trounced in straights in his second GS final against an injured Djokovic

How do you defend against the big forehand while guarding the dropper? Almost impossible
And the space he creates allows him to hit his droppers with plenty of safety margin
He’s a master of runner up speeches at this pointVery nice speech from Stefanos in praise of Carlos
24 and 9 titles. Injured Zverev has 19 and Alcaraz has 9, he’s severely behindHe’s a master of runner up speeches at this point
Lmao “Carlos. Take it easy hermano take it easy. Sharing is caring”Very nice speech from Stefanos in praise of Carlos
Casper Ruud will likely have a better career than him when it’s all said and done.24 and 9 titles. Injured Zverev has 19 and Alcaraz has 9, he’s severely behind
Sign me up pleaseI agree. Alcaraz isn't invulnerable and has had issues with Musetto and Sinner. Matchups make the game interesting.
Would love to see a new B4 of Alcaraz, Rune, Sinner, Musetti.
Musetti is the Murray of that group. lolI agree. Alcaraz isn't invulnerable and has had issues with Musetto and Sinner. Matchups make the game interesting.

Oh and he’s been in 25 finals. And only won 9 forgot to add that. And he thinks he’s close to winning a slamCasper Ruud will likely have a better career than him when it’s all said and done.
